This product is broken but it can susseced to make ice on 12 volt 5 amp power supply.

Bad quality , the wires got detached all of a sudden … the i had to solder it myself … it was working tho. But quality is very poor

It works as expected . Thought of making a beer chiller that would cool the beer as it flowed through a metal pipe/box . But I couldn’t get thermal paste in the local shop or order it from Amazon . Now I just have it lying around collecting dust . If you want to make a beer cooler or fridge or any other type of cooling thing , I recommend this . But don’t use it as a thermal to electricity generator as it is a TEC ,not a TEG.

Many people do not know the truth about Peltier chips. If 100 watts is supplied to the chip then 80% or 80 watts is converted to Heat which is useless. Only 20% is converted to Cooling. This is a huge waste of energy. Also if you make a room-cooler the back of the Peltier the ‘Hot SIde” has to be outside the room or it will get more hotter than cooler as more heat than cold is being released in the same room.
