El equipo se ve bien hecho y de buenos materiales. Desafortunadamente no he logrado conectar 2 monitores a la vez con mi equipo. Y tampoco funciona el puerto de los audífonos. Por lo demás si puede cargar de energía a mi computadora. Y los puertos USB y el HDMI funcionan sin problemas. Yo lo compre ya que es compatible con Thunder bold 3 y es el puerto que tienen las Mac. No tienen USB tipo C aun que parezca y aún que se que hay otros equipos similares no quise arriesgarme a que no hubiera compatibilidad. Funciona y se ve muy bien. El único pero es el precio pero si es recomendable.

Based on my requirements, it has all the basic ports for a small setup. Often with these small portable adapters, the ports are so close that they don’t accommodate two cable heads side by side. I was pleased to find that this one does not have that issue. So I can use both the HDMI and the VGA port at the same time.
Edit on 7/8/23 I spoke too soon… I was quite happy with this adapter, till I used it with 2 monitors. Or I should say tried to use it with 2 monitors because it would only recognise one. It has a HDMI port and a VGA. When I used both together, much to my surprise only one monitor would display a screen. That’s when I realised that even though there are 2 ports on this adapter, you can use only one at a time.
If you see my initial review, the whole reason I got this adapter (as compared to the other compact ones) is that the design allowed for two cables to be connected at the same time. I was so pleased with this purchase, so you can understand how disappointed I was to find out the functionality did not reflect the design. Quite upset…
So, if you are using a double monitor setup, not the product you want!

For the first few weeks it worked very well. But after that the power port stopped working and my laptom was unable to get any power from the dock. After i complained belkin asked me to take it to a dealer locally and after about 2 weeks i received a replacement. In the replacement device the USB ports were not working. my printers and devices were unable to get any signal. i again complained and Belkin again asked me to take it to a local dealer and again after 2 weeks i got a replacement. While taking the replacement i asked the dealer to test in in front of me and give but he refused to do it. when i brought it home it has the same issue of USB ports not working. Now i have asked belkin for a refund but there is no response and the dealer is suggesting that i should change my laptop, printers and keyboard. He is still not ready to even test it at his end before soliciting such advice. My laptop, printers and keyboards are all working fine.

Sharing comments after a year+ of usage with my laptop (ThinkPad). HDMI port + USB port (bluetooth mouse) + power delivery were main use cases for this duration.
1. Build quality is as good as it gets. Metal body is sturdy and durable. 2. Power delivery stopped working after a year. Contacted belkin support as the device was still within the two year warranty, and got a free replacement within two days. ( I had to carry the faulty device myself to the service centre for replacement, along with Bill and Belkin provided RMA). Key was to hunt down the belkin support contact details from their web site and talk to a support agent on the phone, who was able to guide me through the replacement process. 3. There may be other internal reliability issues with pass through power delivery feature. Sometimes (may be when there are power fluctuations), the device has a run away temperature increase, and enters a thermal shutdown. There’s no way to diagnose this issue as an end user. This could also be a case of my specific device having a defect, but there are too many reviews complaining about over heating which could indicate a design issue. On the plus side, the full metal jacket on the device body acts as an excellent heat sink to draw away waste heat from the device, so it is expected to be slightly warm during normal operation. This whole over heating episode repeats about a couple of times a month, and is resolved by unplugging the device, letting it cool down, and resuming operation. 4. Never used the lan port and SD card slot, so no comments there.
Its hard to recommend this device for casual home users, as the cost is not justified. I’d recommend this only to professionals who’d be making a living with their devices and can afford this device and live with replacing it when it dies (which it will). Even then, if rock solid reliability is required, look elsewhere. The only silver lining is the two year warranty and device replacement process if there are issues.
