Got this for FSX.. and glad to choose it. Not very costly and has all features of cockpit… trim, landing gears, throttles, flaps, view change, and most interesting and useful… mouse toggle on top to look around inside the cockpit… All in all a good choose… three stars for durability because this openion of durability should not have been there… It is a delicate device and is supposed to be used delicately. Price wise, much reasonable (cheaper is a wrong word as it conveys that it is CHEAP) as compared to other joysticks in market. Using from last around two months and no issues experienced in terms of sensitivity.

This was an impulse buy for me after trying out MS flight simulator 20. I found it hard to maneuver the aircraft and truly get the immersion with a keyboard. I haven’t played any flight oriented games or simulators previously and all the flight stick or complete hotas setups seemed too expensive to invest in. This one seemed worth for the money and comparatively cheap and so got it.
So far I have played around 30 hrs with it. Would vouch for this if someone is also currently in the same situation looking out for a flight stick. Ergonomics is pretty good, the build seems solid, keys have a clickiness to it and a mini throttle knob so that you’d not need a separate throttle.
One downside I’d like point out is the software support is outdated. If you have any of the Logitech G products, you’d want to have two versions of the software installed. One separately for this stick. And not all games support this stick out of the box (which I didn’t know earlier). For that you’d have to do some mapping-fu ie. bind the flight stick keys to some keys on the keyboard using the software. And within the game assign those keys instead.

I had used one of these joysticks many years ago, and now that a need for one has arisen again, I looked no further than what I knew worked well. This is a high quality joystick that is very accurate and responsive with several mappable buttons. Great for gaming.
Ran into an issue with delivery of the package. UPS failed to deliver to the proper address. Contacted the seller and they had another joystick in the mail the next day. The original ended up getting dropped at my door thanks to the person who received it instead of me. Notified the seller and worked out a return shipping plan. Seller has great, fast communication, and customer service. Would happily buy from BBS again.

Muy buen joystick, para el precio es recomendable, lo uso para MFS2020 y el único problema es que el pequeño “joystick” que tiene en la parte superior ( que por defecto viene para cambiar la cámara ) es de mala calidad, tengo que ponerle presión hacia el lado que quiero cambiar la cámara, fuera de eso, todo lo demás está bien para el precio

I think I got a defective piece…… The package had just a cellotape on it….. Iam sure it was opened before……also the yaw motion is not working….. U can’t control ur plane on the ground because of this….. Ordered for replacement…… Taking a lot of time to send replacement.

replacement for the previous one (exact same model) bought second hand a decade earlier that lasted till recently, but was getting pretty sloppy
the new one is responsive and “tight”, and as a functional controller for flight sim is very capable, and all that a casual gamer might need – stable base, lots of programmable switches, comfortable ergonomics
works perfectly with rise of flight, which is my preferred combat flight sim
not a “realistic” flight yoke, but controls the 3 axis movements and throttle (and pov hat) very competently

Been playing flight sims on my keyboard and mouse. The decision to get a joystick was the best ever! The Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick is a great compact package that fits nicely on my desk with my keyboard and mouse!

Bought this from the same seller in Feb 17 for Rs. 1900 and this is the best joystick for the price you pay.
It has a trigger, a hat switch which can be used to change viewpoints and 11 click buttons). It has a throttle lever which is sensitive due to its short range of deflection yet you can master it within a few tries. I found the joystick to be sturdy and comfortable for long use. You can twist the stick horizontally for rudder inputs which gives a quick yet precise response. It vastly improved my flight simulator experience and I’m satisfied.
The only con is the joystick is not very heavy, doesn’t have rubber grips hence you might find it slip on the surface sometimes while making aggressive inputs but it won’t be significant.
I’m still using the joystick with no issues. Amazon delivered it earlier than ecpected. Thank you Amazon and the seller 🙂

i just got it and i used it to fly in fsx , i mainly tested the joystick with an A320 and a C172 , it was amazing , the rudder control is good , the joystick feels real nice and button placements are smart , the throttle is a little small and there is no reverse trust but u can program one of the buttons of your choice to be reverse !
overall fantastic build quality and a very good joystick for the price ,
go for it , working well on fsx steam edition windows 10 64bit
plug and play , u dont have to install any driver

Four of us, including myself, have bought this joystick on my strong recommendation. And yet you see only three stars!! Let’s start by dividing the joystick into two sections—electrical/electronic and mechanical.
The Good Part: This is no doubt in the external layout, appearance and Logitech’s superb electronics. The electronics in terms of sensitivity and reliability are really superb at this low cost. A wholehearted five stars here!! In Flight Simulation, this makes it ideal for flying helicopters, if like me, that’s what you’re into. Very fine control is possible with the high resolutions built in to the control electronics. But is this sensitivity fully realised? Read on……….!
The Not-So-Good Part: Ah, here’s the problem! When you get the ‘stick you’ll find that it has a very smooth action with very little center play. I discovered that this was due to the fact that its initially packed with a very thick grease (silicone?) that tends to mask this undesirable play. With some use, (especially some vigorous cake mixing, demanded by some shoot-’em-up games, LOL!!), this becomes very noticeable, detracting from real life experience and introducing inaccuracy where critical control in, say, hovering a helicopter, is required. I found the centering spring tension far too high which has the additional effect of wearing out the the internal gimbal bearing fit. The gimbal unit and centering components are all made of plastic and, to start with, may not have the fine fitting tolerances possible with machined metal mechanical parts. It is not fair of us to expect Logitech, at this cost, to do this. This is the area where two whole stars got lost IMHO! And this is where Logitech needs to do something. I can suggest HDPE parts for the gimbal and centering sliding parts and, definitely, finer manufacturing tolerances.
SO AM I MERELY CRITICISING? No way! All that follows is what I recommend no one to do!!! LOL!!! Except at his own risk, of course!!!
When I found the ‘stick unsatisfactory, the first thing I did was open it up (thus nullifying Warranty of 3 years!) and changing the centering spring for one of much lower tension which did the centering job without excessive pressure and wear on the plastic parts. There was a good improvement here experienced both by me and one of my chopper flying friends. To further improve the mechanical part, I intend either to modify the plastic outer sliding part to make its internal diameter adjustable, or make good sliding fits, with machined brass/steel sliding parts.
At the end of the spring change, I’ve given the ‘stick one more star, and one more to be given on full completion of my mods!!! FIVE STARS!!!
SUMMARY: Not everyone is into needing the precision I demanded, since I’m into choppers. A regular user, for most games would find this stick excellent—my group, including me, bought four of these joysticks, remember!
So ultimately, it remains HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
