The sound quality is in these headphones are pretty balanced, but it has less than neutral bass. the build quality is also very good at this price point. It is very light in weight, and the earpads are nice. the headsets have 2 mics one removable mic and the other build in mic which is used when the removable mic in not connected. Good for gaming.
Pros-
1. Good sound quality
2. lightweight
3. good build Quality
4. Mic quality is quite good
Cons-
1. Voice cancellation is not that good
2. Comes with only a USB connectivity option

Let’s start off with comfort
The headset out of the box were a bit tight for me personally, but after about an hour they did get comfortable. The earcups are extremely soft and the headphones themselves are really light. The additional cushioning on the headband does mean that you can comfortably wear these for long gaming sessions.
Features:
The headset comes with Dolby Atmos so if you download Dolby access, you will be able to use it’s surround sound tech, although it makes a really small amount of difference (you will only be getting virtual surround sound as these are not multi driver headsets). But still, you do get great positional audio so in fps games and racing sims, these will work absolutely perfectly. Dual mics do give you the choice to remove the boom mic if you want, which does help if you are not actually using your mic in some games such as single players. The inline remote also gives some additional functionality. You get the option for mic mut/unmute, volume adjustment, audio mute and turning the RGB on/off. The RGB isn’t something that I liked because it just cycles between red, green and blue with absolutely no transition between the colors, which makes it look a bit cheap. The headset does have an impressive amount of noise isolation.
Audio quality:
Unlike most Boat headsets which are underwhelming and overpriced (almost all of them are just about bass, no focus on any other frequencies), these are actually extremely impressive. The bass is just perfect, it’s enough that you can clearly hear it, but not so overpowering that you wanna take them off. Treble is very slightly boosted (it’s minute enough that the average listener wouldn’t be able to tell the difference, you’d have to be an audiophile with experience with neutral headphones to even tell the difference) which is perfect for gaming and the highs and mids are very well balanced. It’s the first budget headset I’ve used that I haven’t felt the need to EQ to get a close to neutral sound. The audio seperation is also excellent, so you can easily tell which direction certain sounds are coming from (for example footsteps, or the noise of an opponent’s engine). The detachable boom mic also means it’s great for watching movies without having the irritation of a mic, and if you use the movies preset in Dolby Access, you will get the best experience. My only problem with it has been the fact that it uses USB for audio, meaning I can’t plug it into my DAC, but it’s not that big of an issue
Mic quality
The headset has 2 mics, one is the inbuilt microphone and the other is the boom mic. The inbuilt mic sounds pretty much like the microphone of a phone, while the boom mic does give a little more clarity. ENC is decent enough, it picks up a bit of background noise, but it isn’t distracting.
Overall an amazing multi purpose headset, completely worth the price. I hope Boat keeps making headsets of this quality (just, make them with audio jacks please)

I ordered a new Headphone. Here is my review after 4 days of usage.
1. It is not advanced multi-point. The connection is either 2.4GHz or Bluetooth. You cannot use both simultaneously.
2. Noise cancellation is terrible. They advertise that it is made for Teams, but in reality the microphones both passive and active are not at all good.
I have been using Boom Mic that comes with the Headphone. I get very bad feedback about my audio quality. I am not sitting in a loud environment, but still it picks up any other Noise around me amplifies when I am not speaking.
It is absolutely terrible to use these Headphones for calls.
I want to return the product. However, Amazon does not offer a return for this, instead they offer replacement, which is not what I want.
It seems I have to keep this absolute junk, but look at other alternatives, proven companies like Sony, Jbl.
Avoid Boat for the microphone issues

Hello all,
I’ve been in a work-from-home setup ever since the first lockdown happened and have been in constant search of a headphone that is VFM, is good for calls, and has drivers powerful enough to support good fidelity sound for gaming/music/movies.
My search ended with this pair finally. I agree the built is mostly plastic but STURDY plastic and the headphone themselves are very tough looking. These are very comfortable for long calls and good jamming sessions.
The headphone has 3 major highlights IMHO:
1. Detachable boom mic – This is very handy for professional calls and audio reception at the other end is very decent ~ less environmental noise and clear audio.
2. In-Line controls – Mic Mute button (doesn’t really mute you on-call whatever calling suite you are on rather mute the mic itself on headphones), volume control that works well, RGB button that turns on/off the light, and mute button.
3. The Boat application – This app is very underrated and I have often heard and read people say that these headphones are not loud and are not good for music. These are those people who really haven’t explored the true potential of this app. I am getting studio-like sound using these headphones just because of this app (Equaliser, Surround Sound, sampler, and a couple of boat proprietary settings – one has to be really good with sound to make them sound great with balanced bass (bass is done just fine and not at usual boat levels that are a bit exaggerated)).
Now not-so-good part:
1. 7.1 Surround sound – This is not a gimmicky feature like others have stated very often in review videos and comments but it needs refinement. Since it’s a virtual 7.1 system what it really means is that it’s just software that is making them sound like 7.1 and the software in itself does need more refinement to do justice to the drivers these headphones hold.
2. We can only turn RGB lights on/off – No control over the color or pattern.
3. Button can be made to feel more reassuring – It seems the button control is fragile just by the tactical feel when clicking.
But do keep in mind the price and the offering. This is easily one of the best bangs for the buck you can have with such features, great sound, and the sheer convenience.
