I was really pumped when I bought this mouse last year. Popped a battery in and played games, edited videos and scrolled the web. Playing games felt snappy and every click felt firm and responsive. The refresh rate of the sensor is top notch. It took me from gold to diamond in Valorant because of how responsive and precise you can aim with the mouse shape and the pristine sensor. It was all fun until I had to change the battery after just 1 month of use. Keep in mind, I was using a Logitech mouse before this, and that mouse lasted more than a year with one battery.
But I guess its justified by the response time and it being a gaming mouse so it must be a power-hungry mouse. Fast forward one year, the clicks are as pristine as the time I bought it. All the buttons work well and it’s still a beast. I took a break from gaming and stopped using my pc for a month because of work and when I came back to it, the mouse started malfunctioning. Every time I lift the mouse the cursor starts spazzing, and I have no way to open up the mouse and clean it, will have to go the service center soon. However, if you’re buying this mouse make sure you keep cleaning this mouse as its very sensitive to dust and dirt. Good mouse. Will update if it still doesn’t work well after the cleaning.

Always used Logitech before, but after my last huge disappointment I tried Razer for the first time. And… it’s great! My brain is still used to heaver mouses though, so the light weight makes it feel “cheap”, but of course the low weight is actually a good thing – I just have to get used to it.

I have been using the Razer Deathadder V2 for a year now, and I must say it has proven to be a good investment for my gaming needs. This gaming mouse offers several impressive features that make it stand out in the market.
First and foremost, the Razer Deathadder V2 boasts a reliable and accurate sensor. Whether I’m playing fast-paced shooters or engaging in precise movements, the mouse consistently delivers smooth and responsive tracking, allowing me to stay on top of my game.
As someone with large hands, finding a comfortable mouse can be challenging. Fortunately, the Deathadder V2 fits my hand perfectly. The ergonomic design provides a natural grip, ensuring extended gaming sessions without discomfort or strain.
One aspect that adds to the overall experience is the excellent software provided by Razer. The customization options are extensive, allowing me to personalize the mouse to suit my preferences. From adjusting DPI settings to programming macros, the software empowers me to tailor the mouse precisely to my gaming style.
Another notable feature is the appealing RGB lighting on the Deathadder V2. The lighting effects are vibrant and customizable, adding a touch of flair to my gaming setup. It enhances the overall aesthetics and creates an immersive gaming environment.
One aspect that impressed me about this mouse is its weight. It strikes a balance between being lightweight enough for swift movements and substantial enough to provide stability during intense gaming sessions.
Furthermore, the availability of aftermarket skates for the Deathadder V2 is a significant advantage. Unlike some other brands, such as Logitech, finding replacement skates for this mouse is hassle-free. This ensures that the performance and glide of the mouse can be maintained over time without any difficulties.
However, there are a couple of minor drawbacks worth mentioning. The wire can be somewhat bothersome, especially if you’re used to wireless mice. While it hasn’t been a major issue for me, it’s worth considering if you prioritize cable-free setups.
Additionally, after a year of use, I’ve noticed some issues with the mouse wheel. As a CS:GO player, I have a jump bind on the scroll wheel, and it has started to malfunction occasionally. While it hasn’t significantly impacted my overall experience, it’s something to keep in mind.
In conclusion, I purchased the Razer Deathadder V2 at a great price, and it has been a reliable and satisfying gaming mouse. It offers exceptional performance, a comfortable grip for larger hands, robust software customization, eye-catching RGB lighting, and the availability of aftermarket skates. Although there are some minor downsides like the wire inconvenience and occasional mouse wheel malfunction, the overall experience has been highly positive. I would recommend the Razer Deathadder V2 to fellow gamers looking for a solid gaming mouse that delivers on performance and comfort.

As someone who has used my partners Razer Mamba, this just can’t compare in quality. Of course, this is a fraction of the price, and I only got it for the white gaming setup. It’s a normal mouse with two side thumb buttons and is good for office or daily use, not really for hardcore gaming usage. It’s much lighter than other razer mouses but I wouldn’t say it’s cheap by any means. Not wireless so not sure why the review asked me to rate battery life.

I have used this mouse for a year now and I will recommend this mouse to anyone who has large hands. The mouse is quite smooth in usage and it always a bonus that this mouse some extra buttons on its left that is customizable (Thanks to Razer Synapse for that), I had to choose between the Logitech G102 & this offering by Razer.
There’s although some problems with this mouse though. After some time of owning this mouse, the scroll wheel stopped working. I mean comes back to life every now & then but it usable as such.

I have been using this mouse for quite some time now & I have completed a lot of games in it. It is comfortable to hold. It is also extremely accurate & responsive while playing fps games like call of duty. The option to choose the size of battery as per our convinience is excellent. Since I prefer a lightweight mouse, I have been using mine with a AAA battery. You can also add weight to the mouse by using a AA battery & get more battery life too. Overall, it is an excellent choice & is very well worth the price you are paying for it.

The product was Fake and not a real/authentic Razer DeathAdder Essential mouse. The product itself was very cheaply made and also did not have a braided cable, but instead, a rubber one.
The mouse also did not register under Synapse and when checking under properties for the mouse, “Razer” was nowhere to be found, and instead was listed as a “generic mouse” in Windows Devices.
I plugged in my previous DeathAdder Essential and it was correctly listed as “Razer”. While this one did not.
Do not buy.
