It’s ok I guess but the hp have better alternatives and the 8 buttons are honestly not that useful. Also the palm rest is not that decent. Also its very minimal for light. Build quality is nice though.

The software is very simple and flexible. The pointer movement and accuracy is good, at least for my casual gaming and general computing needs. I switched to this mouse from an old Logitech M510 which was starting to experience very poor wireless performance every time the battery dropped a little bit, like well before the low battery indicator came on. The Amazon mouse is a similar size though it’s shaped slightly different. It’s only taken me a few minutes to get used to the difference.
Some minor gripes (and they’re pretty nit-picky, I will admit):
1. The cord with the nice cloth braided outer cover is nice, but the way it’s bundled in the packaging means it’s stiffly retaining the folds and bends running across my desk. I’ve tried to straighten it out to some effect, hopefully it will relax over time.
2. The forward and back buttons on the left side are somewhat oddly positioned – I think they would be better a little further forward. Also there’s no strong distinguishing shape or texture to help you know which button your thumb is on. I don’t use these buttons much so it’s not a big deal to me, but it may be to others.
3. The textured feel of the whole mouse is great, but the rubber side grip on the right side doesn’t go far enough forward to catch where my ring finger rests.
All things considered, so far it seems like a great mouse considering the affordable price point.
La calidad de los materiales y su diseño parecen bastante sobresalientes teniendo en cuenta que estamos hablando de un ratón de 23 euros. El ratón funciona y se desliza correctamente en todas las superficies en las que lo he probado. Incluso no serÃa necesario usar una alfombrilla en una mesa normal de escritorio.
== SOFTWARE ==
Cuenta con interfaz USB, y su uso es tan fácil como conectarlo al ordenador, y el propio sistema se encarga de que funcione. Aunque es más que recomendable instalar el propio programa de AmazonBasics Gaming Software que se incluye en el CD, aunque en mi caso lo he descargado desde la propia página del producto en Amazon. El instalador corresponde a la versión 1.0.1.7 y pesa 13,8 MB. Su instalación es tan sencilla como pulsar siguiente siguiente… No trae ningún software extra ni ningún adware molesto.
Una vez instalado, salta una actualización a la versión 1.0.1.8. Algo un poco raro teniendo en cuenta que acabo de descargarlo desde la página de Amazon. No es gran molestia, y en un par de minutos ya está actualizado.
Como todo dispositivo gaming cuenta con luces LED con intensidades, colores y modos a elegir. Es posible configurar tanto la luz de la ruleta de scroll como del logo central, por separado o juntas, e incluso con colores al azar.
Toda la configuración que apliques en el programa se queda guardada y no es necesario tenerlo abierto ni minimizado.

The mouse is great for normal gaming and office work but sometimes feels a bit heavy from one side (ig due to weight distribution) but over all its great. It comes with a software but you have to download it online by using google search (no links in manual given (in mine at least) ).

I was very skeptical of buying this Logitech g402 copycat. Because almost all the reviews mentions it has no software to reprogram the buttons. But that’s not the case. Read the user guide given in the box. It has the link to download. Or download the pdf user guide from this product page. Download the software and remap the buttons, use macros, change dpi upto 8800.
Now as for the mouse itself, build quality isn’t too bad. A bit on the heavy side. Almost as good as the g402. Don’t know what sensor it has. But it has poling rate 125hz only. So for gaming, not very good. Also, the memory slot isn’t changeable. If you don’t have the software running in the background then the whatever custom settings u set won’t work. Everytime you restart the pc it goes back to default.
I mainly wanted this for the extra buttons. I got it for ₹549. So, it’s worth it to me.

dont know why everyone says that its bad, but i am a student and i use this mouse. i got a refurbished one and it works like new im not sponsered in anyway but its nice to know that amazon puts quality in to their product(s) only product i have bought from amazonbasics though 5/5 stars
Well I know AmazonBasics is not something that one might seriously consider when it relates to quality and gaming at the same time but let me say something more than that. I got this for a friend as they were not really familiar with what a good mouse should have and should deliver. Now, the value for the money is 100% as the mouse is definitely below average and is in the cheap category by all means. It was indeed greatly packaged so I loved that.
When it comes to he built design and materials, I was massively surprised on how well this has been put together. The plastic has a smooth and soft feel but at the same time is not something I would call fragile – great stuff. The grip and hand placement is very nice and comfortable (well at first but I don’t think this would be different after a few hours of use).
The rubberised sides are very welcome in a good mouse and help with the overall control. The side buttons for Back/Forward are useful in almost any situation so that is definitely a plus! Adjust DPI button, is something that I don’t usually use but is very handy to have so another plus for that.
One of the things that surprised me most is that the cable was braided and the USB was gold-plated. That is proof that this mouse has been thought of in terms of durability, longevity and the signal conduction because of the gold-plated USB end.
I don’t think that there is a better mouse for every or anyone that costs less than £10.
If one is on the market for an excellent price for a ridiculous price – this is the one!

Die Maus ist für den günstigen Preis sehr gut verarbeitet. Lediglich ein Gleitpad war nicht ganz ideal aufgeklebt. Die Installation des Treibers ist kinderleicht und funktioniert super mit Windows 10. Die Firmware wurde geupdated und meine Einstellungen konnte ich auch sehr gut einstellen.
Zur Ergonomie: Die seitlichen Tasten für standardgemäß „vor“ und „zurück“ könnten locker 5mm weiter vorne angeordnet sein. Ich hab sehr kleine Hände und muss meinen Daumen schon sehr stark beugen um die „zurück“-Taste zu erwischen. Es kömmt öfter vor, dass ich eher die „vor“-Taste erwische. Daher gibts nicht die vollen Sterne.
Die Maus funktioniert prima mit dem Amazonbasics mini, dünnem Mauspad.
Die Verpackung ist schlicht aber gut. In der heutigen Zeit würde ich vorschlagen, die Treiber-CD wegzulassen, da sowieso 95% aller PC/Laptops etc. einen Internetzugang besitzen. Das spart Geld, Ressourcen und hilft der Umwelt.

No trae ningún software extra ni ningún adware molesto.
Una vez instalado, salta una actualización a la versión 1.0.1.8. Algo un poco raro teniendo en cuenta que acabo de descargarlo desde la página de Amazon. No es gran molestia, y en un par de minutos ya está actualizado.
El software está únicamente en inglés, lo que para algunas personas será un punto negativo, pero no supone un gran impedimento.
Podemos configurar el comportamiento de los dos botones laterales (por defecto para ir hacia delante y atrás en el navegador) y el botón central, que por defecto se usa para cambiar entre distintos niveles de sensibilidad que también son configurables, y cada uno cuenta con un color que también podemos personalizar.
Como todo dispositivo gaming cuenta con luces LED con intensidades, colores y modos a elegir. Es posible configurar tanto la luz de la ruleta de scroll como del logo central, por separado o juntas, e incluso con colores al azar.
