Cosmic Byte C1070T Interstellar Wired Gamepad

It’s an awesome Controller for PC and PS3 Which I majority used for….Easy And Comfortable….it’s take times to get use to Xbox Analog Layout If You Were A PS Analog Layout… But majour problem I faced using it with ps3 is in some games like Beyond two souls, CSGO, Payday 1 and 2 and some more games…. The Button Becomes Little Drunk :p The buttons become inverted… For Ex as in PS layout design ∆O[]X… In this Controller XYAB…. In some games It’s Works In PS design layout but in some other games it works in Xbox Layout like if game say press X to Start… In some gamers it will works fine in A=X but some other games it will be inverted like B=X….. And we cant do anything about it… No it’s not my PS3 console Problem I Used many Controller But never Faced This Type Of Problem…So At Last it’s an great controller For PC but If you are Buying this controller for your PS3 than get ready to be little confuse with button layout Or Be The Pro Gamer Like Me To Manage And Use to It Soon…..

I ordered the product expecting one that would match my old XBox360 controller. I asked for a replacement, and then finally decided to return and get my refund. This was my experience. I ordered the Wired Version. (As others have stated the wireless connector is of low quality and problematic + battery issures).

1. Product Image vs Actual Product: I don’t know why, but the logo on the controller I received does not match the logo on the product image. They must have changed it since the old logo’s were in 2018 and this version is 2021.
The LB and RB buttons of the slick reflected image are not present on the LB and RB buttons of the actual product. It is not a slick smooth light reflecting surface but a plastic surface, same as the top body surface..
The XBox360 LB RB buttons feels like what they are, Buttons. Cosmic bye butons feel like boxes.

2. Joystick: The 1st one had a pretty big deadzone, after pushing to about halfway, 40-60% of the max pushing possible, it went instantly from 0% (inactive) to 100% (max). There is a very very small window where it goes to Half power (50%) which is negligible as the area was very small. The 2nd one was better but still same result, smaller deadzone but straight to 100% from 0% (inactive), with a very small half window.
Does not go slowly and gradually from 0 to 100% with respective distance of joystick push like the XBox 360.

3. Visuals: I must say, the visuals had me sold. The quite smaller size as compared to other controllers plus the glowing LED of the buttons was mesmerizing, not to mention the accompanying green colour. The middle LED however can be quite blinding and can’t be turned off. One could resort to taping or marking it black though so not really problematic.

4. Turbo button: I do not think it was working as intended. 1st one was broken. The 2nd one might have been working but didn’t explore much.

5. Packaging: 1st one was new ( I think) or as good as new. 2nd one was horrible. If they told me the delivering vehicle or shipping vehicle had crashed I would have believed it. Thankfully the controller Inside ‘looked’ Undamaged.

6. 2nd controller (replacement) review: LT and RT buttons were not working. Lower Left + pad was also resistant (had to press very hard, 1st controller did not have this problem).

7. Triggers: I don’t know what analog or whatever means, but the triggers (1st) had a big deadzone, about 40% from max, and the RT was not as resistant ( it was soft, If I might add) as the LT. Like the joystick, it went from inactive to FUll at arund 60% of the distance.
the 2nd one had better trigger press resistance than the first but as stated they were not working.

If you all want a gamepad for very casual gameplay, this might be good enough. But make sure to get one that has no problems. Be it the LT RT buttos nor RB LB buttons or joysticks.
Ignore the middle LED, you’re going to want to cover it up anyway.
Don’t worry abotu the Dinput and Xinput stuff, no one cares about that anymore.

Windows 10 recognized it as an XBox Gamepad. Doesn’t even come close to one.

 To be very honest and straight forward it’s my first time to use a gamepad and since it’s was my first time so firstly I decided to buy redgear wireless pro and unfortunately that went out of stock and till date not came back in stock.So I considered this one.Firstly it’s in hand feel is awesome and good af.Vibration motors work pretty well.I played forza horizon 4 with this and it performed really well.We all what I meant to say that is it has pressure sensitive triggers so it’s better than a normal one.From my perspective there should be only 2 issue that may arise! 1st is battery backup obviously I didn’t tried that much so after a month I will update the review and 2nd issue is durability because while buying this controllee I cancelled this product 2 times because of the reviews,reviews of some customers were not so positive.But let’s see.I will also update the durability review but after 6 months of usage because 1650 rs aren’t cheap and yes I also tested this gamepad on gamepad tester website the gamepad is fine no defective product sent by seller.Overall rating on till date is 4.5/5.

Good quality and it looks cool and feels good.
