battery back is 1.2 hr more than that of original as its 7200 mah

Backup has drastically reduced and it has not been a year, also the battery only charges when my laptop is shut down.
Else it keeps on restarting. Can someone tell me how it can be rectified.

Bought the battery from amazon. The battery was in good shape but took a little effort to fit in, the original battery was a flawless fit. The battery worked decently for 4 months before completely going nuts. Right now even if it is charged to 100% the laptop just turns off as soon as I remove the charging cable. Hoping to get a replacement as its within warranty period. Will update the review and rating once I get it done.

The battery’s service centre is based in Mumbai and the only way to get it serviced is couriering the package. I checked the courier charges and it was around 2.5k INR for a round trip. Even if I give the benefit of doubt of getting the battery repaired/replaced the money spent will be almost half the price I got the battery for. And there is good chance it will be a futile exercise in both time and effort as blame can easily be put by the seller on courier company and then I don’t want to go through all the insurance fiasco. Long story short, don’t buy these batteries unless you live in Mumbai.
