Last year I purchased this Lapcare Chillmate Laptop Cooling Pad/Stand for my hP 15 laptop & I was very much satisfied with its performance !!
This year I needed additional unit for my brand new Acer Swift 3X … but most seller had jacked up its price !! When I checked … it was ranging between ₹890 to ₹899/- … with at least one week delivery time !!
Luckily I saw this seller offering Lapcare Ergonomic Laptop Cooler pad/stand … which appeared slightly different from Chillmate for ₹795/- including delivery charges !!
I ordered it … & when I opened the package … I was pleasantly surprised to see that it’s Chillmate again !! A big thanks to the seller !!

I did not know that the pad was made in china, or I wouldn’t have bought it in the first place! It’s not that I have anything against China; it’s just that history suggests, Chinese stuff doesn’t last, and history was proved right again! It stopped working exactly on the third day, even by handling with utmost care! The sockets at the back of the pad have loosened badly, and I have to resort to jugaad, to even make it work! I don’t know if this is just the case with me or with others too. It would be great if Amazon takes care of the issue as it always does. Although, in the 3 days it worked; it worked nicely, that’s why the 3 stars. Dear Amazon, please look into the matter
Edit: Amazon has taken note and provided me with a replacement in under 6 days. They really know how to take care of their customers 🙂

Just bought it, so durability is not mentioned. Will be updated. For out of the box performance,
1. Warmth : Does the job. Nothing fancy. For 15 inch laptop, it barely fits. So it will be good for upto 14 inch nicely. If your 15 inch has heat build up in corners(like in exhaust) The effect is reduced.
2. Silence : Not ultra silent, but it’s ok. Has a small sound when the fans are ramping up, but nothing unbearable. But because there is 2 fans, it gives ok air circulation.
3. For gaming : If your laptop is thermal throttling, then this is not gonna do well. All it can do keep it a little cooler for a litte more time, but if your laptop cooling system can’t handle it, it will eventually throttle. I had a laptop that hits 90° when gaming in 15-20 mins.. When used this, it could hold it for like 1 hr max, but it will hit 90 eventually.
3. Ergonomic : Again, ok. Nothing fancy. Feels like the plastic is little low quality, though. As I said, durability will be eventually updated. The fans has transparent fins and the blue light makes it looks nice. But when you place your laptop on it, it’s not visible.
Features : 3 height pre set, USB passthrough(not tested), cable included(male to male). Personally, I found even the lowest slant high enough, the other sets are too slant.
I feel 850 is a bit high for it. If you get it on an offer, sure. Otherwise, think again.

Power connector is missing. Package is damaged. Received defective product hence returning. Reordered 2 times but both time defective item received. I am interested in this product but the right working item was not delivered in all my 4 attempts. Hence returning once again.
