I usually never write reviews for any of the products I buy in Amazon but this one genuinely deserves a positive review. I’m a hardcore gamer and due to the nature of my job I have to use a laptop and while gaming, it really heats up(91⁰C-98⁰C). I’ve wasted so much money on many cooling pads with all those big gimmick fans and to be honest I was kinda sceptical about this one too but when I used it, boy oh boy it didn’t disappoint. My temps went down from 92⁰ to a steady 78⁰-82⁰ during extensive gaming sessions. So basically how this thing works is that it has a unique design in which the laptop kinda sits on top of a hole and there is a rubber sealing on all sides. When the intake fans blows cold air into the hole a high pressure is created and the air is forced to exit only through the laptop bottom vents and thus through the heatsink which gives more airflow to the laptop. Simple physics but an ingenious design nonetheless. These guys really know how to make an excellent product. When I first saw the design, I also was a bit concerned that hot air from my laptop rear exhaust could enter in to the air intake of the cooling pad but they’ve provided us with air deflectors which really does the job preventing hot air from entering into the intake vents. The only downside of having this much powerful cooling is that it’s a bit loud compared to other cooling pad when the fans are on max speed but that’s not even a deal breaker for me considering the insane cooling it offers and plus, I wear headphones while gaming so I don’t even hear the fans cranking up. Do note that I got these insane temp results with the cooling pad fans on max speed(4500 rpm) and my laptop fans on 5000 rpm and on an ambient room temperature of 27⁰ C.And also another important thing to note is that your laptop should have a decent sized vents on the bottom for this thing to work it’s magic. The larger the vents, the better the cooling. My laptop is an Acer Nitro 5 and it has sufficient air vents on the bottom. I’ll also recommend plugging the cooling pad power to an external adapter rather than plugging directly to your laptop because this can offer a slight improvement in the fan speed. Price of this product is a bit on the higher side but trust me guys it’s worth every single penny. This cooling pad also comes with a 5yr warranty which no other brands offers so I believe the price is pretty much justified. I bought it for 5300/- during prime day sales. I hope this helps clear at least some of your doubts if you’re planning to get one.

C’est un peu bruyant en vitesse max, mais si on a un casque c’est facile de l’oublier. C’est convenable, mais potentiellement un peu gênant si on partage les lieux avec d’autres personnes. Il est très facile de l’éteindre si l’usage ne le justifie pas à un moment donné, et il se rallume aussi vite. Le support est plutôt ergonomique (angle, hauteur, encombrement) mais les patins en caoutchouc s’usent un peu et glissent légèrement parfois. Mon PC n’a jamais surchauffé même les journées chaudes après de longues heures donc j’estime que ça remplit son office admirablement. Il s’allume tout seul lors du boot mais sur le “niveau 0”, qui convient pour un usage type internet/bureautique standard. Il faut juste se souvenir de le modifier quand on lance quelque chose de plus lourd.

I was previously using A Profissy 6 fan cooler which didn’t reduce temperature at all. Bought this with mixed feelings but boy did it surprise me.
PROS Using it for my HP Victus which goes 80 – 82 C while gaming and it brings down the temperature to around 70 – 72 . That’s 10 C lower which I really appreciate and sometimes even lower. One important thing to pay attention to is ambient temperature. When my room’s hot (around 26 – 28 C) the drop in temperature with cooler is around 8 – 10 C on average. But in lower ambient temperature it further lowers temperature. In my case when my room temperature is around (21 – 22 C) the cooler brings down the temperature atleast 13 – 15 C when compared to not using it. Lot of people are complaining about noise but its pretty much the same as sound our laptop fans make during gaming so that’s not an issue
CONS Though the design is good its not airtight. I can still feel air leaking on the side however I position the laptop The Cost is high. Since this is imported we are paying quite a hefty sum as tax. Then again Mistral and gt500 are the only coolers that work and then there’s the point where we can buy 3 Mistral for the cost of one gt500

Ordered this product along with a different one to replace my old laptop cooler. Both products had great reviews but this one beat the other by a few degrees 🙂 Very happy with the purchase NOW but wasn’t initially. Read on for full details but in short, this product was worth the price and keeps my laptop cooler than any of the 4 coolers I have now. This repeatedly beat the second best cooler (and not a cheap one either) by about 8 degrees Celsius on the CPU, 11 on GPU, and about 8 on the system overall. It is well built, well engineered, and has some important little features I like (i.e. the rear air deflectors that seem cheesy but actually make sense). The support that KLIMA provides is first rate and I’d buy from them again in a heartbeat.
The full story: Ordered a NEW KLIMA Mistral from Amazon. Package gets here and it was obvious I had been sent a previously sold and returned cooler. The cooler was NOT packed into anything other than its original vendor box. There were old shipping labels cut off that box. The box itself was torn in a few areas and showed obvious signs of handling and wear. I opened the box and pulled out the contents. There were 2 cables loose inside the box, the air deflectors had the backing taken off for the sticky area, and the glue itself was all balled up and nasty. The rubber o-rings were also loose within the box. Nonetheless, I hooked everything up to see what it was like. One of the LEDs up front was not working and one of the fans, at idle and at level 1, was VERY rough sounding. At level 2 and 3 it matched the sound of the other fan though. I contacted KLIMA via their online support page and also sent them pictures. I expected to wait 2 or 3 days for a response and also expected to have to explain things multiple times. I had a response the next morning and right off the bat they apologized and offered to send me a new one. They explained that they did not control what Amazon sent out and that they truly were disappointed and apologetic. “They” was a support representative named Marja and she did a great job over the next few emails, albeit her native language was not English, communicating what was going on. 5 days after my initial contact with them I had my new cooler and I am loving it. Kudos to Klima and Marja for standing behind their product, righting a wrong, and showing that their stance on support isn’t just words but actionable truth.

Pros
– cools you laptop really well provided the ambient temperature is cool outside – my laptop had issue with thermal throttling but with this I am able to keep the laptop cool while gaming and have stable performance – adjustable fans speed with 4 modes ( including the base speed) – seal which helps direct the air directly to the laptop – RGB was not interested but a plus for who likes to match Aesthetics
now to Cons
Cons – loud when operational. – build quality is a less than average – expensive for its price range
Other than that I have nothing to complain about. Overall a good product

But once it fit, It’s very powerful and efficient at cooling, it kept my normal 99°c gaming to 72°c thats -30°c. I wish it fit my 14 inch razer blade had to make my own adjustment manually. I got it for 5.4k rs and i think thats a decent price. But it is very loud, if your air exhaust are behind the laptop no worries they provide flaps and some cool sticker. Just make sure they fit properly, cause once done it’s worth it. If you are gamer who has a high end gpu and cpu and play demanding AAA then go for it blindly, or if u wanna go more better go the the iet500 which are costlier but too good.

This cooling fan solved a problem I never thought I’d be able to fix. Straight up 10C difference when playing my games at the highest settings (used to touch low 90s, now around 80).
Build is quite decent and the rgb looks good as a bonus. Not too difficult to setup if you read the instructions. Of course it’s more on the expensive side compared to other coolers on the market but those don’t work one bit. I would rather have this cooler that actually works VS ones which cost 20% of this but don’t work at all. In my opinion, this is completely worth the price.
The fan does make some noise but that is to be expected with them running at such a high speed. It’s not a bother for me personally but some people may mind it. Not a deal breaker in any way though.
