I am deliberately writing this review after prolonged use so that I can even comment on its quality even after a long usage. I am not only satisfied but delighted with Amazon basics Keyboard & Mouse. Initially while searching for Keyboard & Mouse I browsed many brands and narrowed on this looking at quality vis-a-vis price. Now it’s been almost 6 months and I am happily using it comfortably with no issues absolutely Apart from the operation use I find even the battery life of both items to be exceptional where I have to change battery of mouse every 2 months ( single AA cell ) and for keyboard I have still not changed. And mind you I use these almost for 15-16 hours daily. It’s absolute VALUE FOR MONEY !!!

This keyboard is great. It feels great, the keys feel great and the spacing of the keys are great.
It’s also works great if you have a Mac. There are two small changes that you’ll need to make though (by swapping the Windows key with the alt key on the left).
1) Goto System Preferences -> Keyboards -> Modifier Keys and switch the layout to the image attached.
The other thing you may want to do is pop out the Windows and ALT keys on the left, and swap the physical keys around. The easiest way to pop out the keys is to just use a credit card under the keys and fling up.
You’ll just have to remember that the Window Key is the Command Key, but positionally, it’s the same as the original Mac keyboard.
After these two changes (takes 3 minutes to do them), you have a pretty functional Mac keyboard. The keyboard also has separate volume up and volume down keys that work with native built-in OS X audio controls.
I find this solution much better than using the Macally keyboards.

I got a case of them fo rage gaming etc. They work GREAT The box I got was damaged and there was a few mark’s on a few boards. But they worked great. So got them for half price took them in to my buddy at a computer store and showed him the bill I got. He almost S_ _ _ he said he could not even get the board for that price even if he bought a 100+. LOL TY AMAZON keep up the good work.

This keyboard and mouse combo is a huge letdown, even for an Amazon basics product. The keyboard feels cheap and unresponsive, while the mouse is equally subpar, with poor ergonomics and below-average performance. For this price range, you’re better off investing in a Zebronics or a more reliable brand. It’s clear that little to no effort was put into quality or user experience, as the products lack proper calibration and comfort. The combo seems rushed to market without adequate testing, leaving customers frustrated. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone—spend a little more for something that’s actually worth your money.

The Amazon Basics Keyboard and Mouse combo is a budget-friendly option, but it falls short in quality. The keyboard feels flimsy, with poorly constructed keys that lack durability and a satisfying tactile feel. It’s not suitable for long-term or heavy use.
The included mouse is equally disappointing. Its connectivity is unreliable, often causing lag or disconnects, which can be frustrating during use. While this combo might work as a temporary or backup solution, it’s not ideal for daily tasks.
Only consider this if your budget is extremely tight, and even then, explore alternatives but add some more money

The USB connector for the keyboard and mouse is missing from the box. Upon opening the package, it was found that the required USB connector was not included. Since this component is essential for connecting the devices, I request that the missing USB connector be provided at the earliest.
Nano receiver not in the pack

Bought to use in a computer lab, love the fact that it has no bottom fold out legs, the students tend to break those off a lot.
I would give it more for value, but it seems light and I’m thinking it will get broken easily with the students.

I ended up buying the pack of 10 because it was cheaper to buy that much seeing as how much we need. These were super easy to set up. All I needed to do was plug them in and they started working right away with Windows. The keyboard was a little larger then I was expecting but that was my fault for not looking at the dimensions.

The keyboard moves up and down during key strokes. Also, the mouse double-clicks even on single click.

The media could not be loaded.
Key travel is good for my WFH, which involves drafting contents like docs, emails along with little coding.
Auto on off is working flawless , smooth & no delay noticed.
Mouse is slimmer than usual size which makes it comfortable for small palms.
Looks are also good.
Overall, I found it value for money and no such issues noticed which are mentioned in negative reviews for this product.
Quality and longevity can be commented only after using for at least 6 months. I’ll update comments after few months if any observations.
