My laptop variant is HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ec1051AX and the cover fits just fine, quality is also pretty good(just a silicone cover only, can it be really bad?), but people buying this for the backlit keyboard variant please just dont go for it. Please see the below images to know why.

Firstly, it feels nice to the touch. Fit perfectly on my HP Pavilion 15ec2076ax keyboard. It’s really thin yet durable and is a great fit. It doesn’t really feel like you have a cover over your keys. A CON though is that it’s opaque so you can’t see the light through the alphabets. It just illuminates the sides of the keys, if that’s something you’re particular about. I don’t see any other reason why anybody wouldn’t go for it. Great purchase!

Although I bought one for HP15-CS2082TX (posted a pic, but not wasting time now) which was never a perfect fit, bought another one now for HP15-eg3018TU. Although keyboard image matching all done (no brainer, everyone will do these basics), can see it doesn’t fit perfectly. I am sure the manufacturer knows this. It’s wobbling at some keys and you have to drag to match some places. In due course will be very obvious.
So why you buy it and why they continue to sell? Just a dust cover/protection as I use an external key board anyways…So don’t bother, but must say not a perfect fit…simple.
Finally, one consolation. Amazon was showing another cover priced at Rs. 2500 or so, but not seen now….so this product is worth Rs100 or must be a free give away.

This product is a perfect fit for my HP Pavilion Gaming 15ec-1050ax. It would fit for any Pavilion 15 series as all are the same size. The protector just sticks on and doesn’t slip at all as it sits on each key perfectly. Easily removable too, when needed. I use my device for gaming and since I use an external keyboard, I keep the laptop open for long hours, meaning dust and even ants tend to enter the gap between the keys. This product saves the laptop keyboard from that issue.
However, the letterings on the cover are not see through, which means letters and numbers can’t be seen in dark. But the screen lighting can very well reflect on them and make them visible (as shown in image). Also, Caps Lock light is not seen through because of this, but I say that’s a very negligible thing when compared to the product quality, fit and value for money. If you are looking for one, I would suggest to go for this without any worry.

The product is over all a nice product. There is only one flaw. The back side of the buttons are colored completely black which makes the ‘caps lock’ light, and ‘mute’ button light not visible. We can’t see if the caps lock and the mute button is turned on or not due to non-visibility of the lights. The transparent version would be the best choice, as you will be able to see all the lights.

It best fits in my hp laptop. Quality & fit is also good. Only problem is that it totally blocks the CAPS LOCK light from the CAPS KEY which creates the confusion that caps is on or not (especially while putting passwords on a case sensitive website). I made a small hole in the keyboard protector for CAPS light to be visible (see in the photos attached by me). Manufacturer can make a small improvement in their design by making that small area transparent so that light will be visible. Press helpful if my comment help.
