I have been using a MacBook Pro 14 inch for the past 1.5 years, suddenly last month it shut down. I took it to the apple service center. Upon inspection they have observed water traces that short the logic board right beneath the keyboard. They had to change the logic board and the Touch ID components which cost me 61k. I was sure that I never spilled any beverages on the laptop. The only possibility of water entering the laptop was through the keyboard, while I was cleaning with wet tissues. Even the slightest contact with moisture can damage your laptop, so now after getting my laptop repaired, I bought this TPU based skin for my keyboard and it feels great! It fits my laptop keys perfectly. Upon usage it took shape of the keys properly and looks great. It protects the laptop keyboard from dust and liquids. I wish I got this product sooner.

I like it, Specially this colour. It fits perfectly on my M2 MacBook Pro 14″. The touch and feel is also nice however the keyboard light will be less visible. It’s a compromise for Keyboard protection. I will check if it does anything to the screen.

I recently purchased the Oaky Premium Keyboard Cover for my MacBook and I must say, it’s a decent product. It perfectly fits my MacBook’s keypad, matching the dimensions seamlessly. The size precision is commendable, providing an almost unnoticeable presence on the keypad.
However, like any new addition, it does take a little while to get used to. Initially, typing with the cover felt slightly different compared to the bare keyboard. But after a brief adjustment period, it became quite comfortable to use.
The only downside, and the primary reason I’ve given it 4 stars instead of 5, is that the keyboard cover tends to leave a mark on the top of the screen. This necessitates a regular cleaning routine to maintain the pristine condition of my screen. While this isn’t a deal-breaker, it’s an inconvenience that I wish I didn’t have to deal with.
Overall, the Oaky Premium Keyboard Cover is a solid purchase if you’re looking for a protective solution for your MacBook’s keyboard. It’s well-fitted and of decent quality, although you may have to contend with some minor screen maintenance due to the marking issue. Despite this, I would still recommend the product for its protective qualities and perfect sizing.
