Go for it if you want to put multiple drives safely together, most cases can hold one external drive and one cable because of thickness varying between 1.2 to 2 inch (W), this one has 2.5 inch Mine holds one ssd inside an enclosure on one side and 3 ssds on another, i was happy with the quality so I went for second one within a week
