No need of any setup to get your drives installed if your OS is windows 7 and above . Make sure if its not able to detect check the power getting supplied to adapter and in worst case your hard disk is already ruined hence not detectable

The overall finish of the product is not very good. However, it serves my purpose very well. You can easily connect old IDE/SATA hard drives or CD-ROMS to your laptop or desktop via USB and transfer data, without the need to open the CPU cabinet. The power adapter provided is a good add-on.

This product seems to work just fine. No frills, just a reliable tool to have around.
If you have a hard drive lying around or somebody hands you one, you can use this to test them out
before you even install them in your PC or notebook. The package comes with all the cables as well
as a power supply to plug your hard disk drive thru a USB connection on your PC. In fact, because it
has it’s own power supply, you can use your disk drive as a USB flash drive. It does what it is

注文してから1か月程で届きました。それも機械翻訳文章で、届けないと理解させられて、キャンセル申請したその日に届きました。無料キャンセルできる最終日の出来事で、嫌な文章で１円返金キャンセルメールでした。欲しいものが届いたので、キャンセル申し込みのキャンセルできませんでしたが、使うつもりで本日接続にトライしましたが、ガッカリです。
①、コンセント差し込み部分が3ピンのもので、そこまで払ったので2ピンに変換用プラッグぐらい提供して下さいよ！
②、シリアルATAケーブルの4ピンオス端子がぐらぐらで、メス端子の穴に揃ってくれません。それだけで嫌になりました。これは商品になりません。中国人に恥をかかせないで、販売を中止してください。Amazonは何でもありの熱帯雨林のアマゾンではありません。アリババ、タウバウ等で売って下さい。
③、ACアダプターは12V,5V出力対応で、４ピンメス端子になっていましたが、２番ピンの端子穴に金属部分がありません。そのようにACアダプターに書かれているようですが、日本での安全使用技適マークが無いかと思います。火事は人生を奪い取ります。４千円奪い取っても構いませんが、、、、

④、付属のATA変換電源ケーブルで３．５インチのHDDは回転しませんでしたので、別のケーブルをACアダプターの４ピンメス端子に差し込んでHDDに繋いだら、HDDは回転しました。二台のミニPCのM.2　SATA変換アダプターに接続して見ましたが、PC側でHDDの認識がありませんでした。これだけはこの商品（？）の原因と言えません。アダプター側の問題である可能性もありますからね。
⑤、今回はミニPCのM.2規格の端子をSATA接続HDDに接続するための電源として使用目的で購入しました。IDE接続端子は今のところ使用予定が無いので、評価出来ません。お金を騙してとっても構いませんでしたが、貴重な時間と多額のHDD,PCを危険にさらせた行為は許せません。
⑥、この商品（？）に数多くのレビュウが書かれてありますが、さくらが殆どと思います。このものはAmazon de販売する商品ではありません。Amazon様に是非このレビューも記載して欲しいと期待しております。
