Well, I got this item from amazon for a price of about Rs300 and I think it is totally worth it. I even searched in local shops for this but couldn’t find such , having an old PC this one would help me a lot. The product came with a metal plate that was to be attached to the pcie bracket and also screws were provided with the product , the product has two 9-pin interface which connects to your motherboard and gives you a seamless experience. The overall built quality is good considering the price.

– The build quality of this USB hub was fine – I had uploaded some images and video check it, it may be helpful – All the 4 ports were working. – It’s easy to plug into your CPU, you will a 9 pin interface header or it will be written as UBS on your motherboard simple plug into it when your pc is in an off situation, and it’s done – I got a file transfer speed of 15.6 MB/s to 18 MB/s – some times for me it even goes to 60, 70 MB/s but it immediately falls to 16 to 17 MB/s don’t know why – If the data copying is active on multiple ports the speed varies also it will decrease it happend to me – The total length of the wire is approximately 25 CM – All 4 ports are USB 2.0, works fine no problems using from 65 days – You need a screw to fit this in your CPU cabinet but there was no screw given, the screw was missing – definitely you need a screw to fix this to the CPU cabinet, get ready with a screw before it delivers to you – The in-hand feel is a little heavy, but not too heavy – The main body is completely made of plastic and the metal bar is of iron – Overall quality was fine

Needed a bracket to expose 4 ports available on the motherboard on my PC. It took all of 5 minutes to open the case and put this bracket in. Then I plugged in my mouse, keyboard, Webcam and Headphones. It works perfectly!
Now I have full access to all the USB ports on my motherboard. This is a well made, sturdy product and it’s priced well.

I have a Gigabyte Z97-D3H-CF motherboard, which did not had the USB 2.0 connected, when i tried connecting Novation Mininova which connects only via USB 2.0 and not 3.0. Brought this USB port connected it. You will see 2 USB slot on your motherboard, in which one pin is not there, that is USB 2.0, plugin both the pins to the socket to get 4 USB ports working, … but when connecting behind the CPU, the panel which you want to remove think which one you want remove before and then connect this one. See to that nothing is touching the motherboard parts or others to the USB hardware, just so that the fan or any capactiors don’t get affected. Bit flimsy but thats okay, the 2 pins is bit hard to push into the slots though. No need of any drivers, once you start your PC, go to device manager to view the Ports, connect anything to see it work. Finally my Mininova is working. Good hardware product.

Pros: 1) Compatible with Win7-11 (Yes I tried the Win11 and works fine with that too) 2) 4 X USB 2.0 slots for this price 3) Thick protected cabled and sturdy pin-adapters 4) The frame and body is mostly metal and very sturdy 5) Comes with a screw 6) No additional drivers required (Atleast for me it was just plug and play)
Cons: 1) Not a tight fit (Moves up-down even after screwing it tight, had to get it extra support with a folded paper by placing it at the bottom) 2) The ports are slightly mis-aligned with the frame on the front (Just OCD😜, but no issues…)
Except for the above no issues till date, works well, hope for none either… It’s a good buy, go for it!

This buy was a part of my potato(PC) upgrade. I was compelled by my faulty and slow USB ports which started giving me errors constantly. Then I decided to buy a USB hub for it. Only then I saw unused USB connectors in my motherboard, so thought, why not buying this thing for my potato? And I recieved it. Well first impression was very good…metallic build and it has more weight to it. I screwed it to the back of my chassis, it fitted very well. Connecting it to the motherboard it recognised right away. Boom!! 4 USB ports for my good old potato. They works perfectly for the purpose. I don’t know about the longevity of this product, however I hope it’d last. Now I have 8 USB ports on back and 2 up front. Happy and satisfied. 🙂

When guys at the store messed up the front panel USB sockets of the CoolerMaster case, not only did they screw up the socket but also the cable connecting this and another USB socket to the USB pins on the motherboard. When connected, the mobo would report “too much current being used by the USB” and would shut down. The only choice was to disconnect the front panel USBs. So what do I do for the USBs? The mobo, Asus – P5G41T- MLX3 had provisions to accommodate 4 USB ports. The CABLSETC 4 Port USB was the only choice after reading the good reviews and sure it did live up to its rep. Worked like a charm. The board now offers all its 8 USBs. Highly recommended.

Good product, working fine but for fitting you have to customize, my gigabyte H61ms motherboard has only one 9 pin slot remaining after connection with front USB ports, so I can use only 2 ports among the four as this PCIE needs two 9 pin slots for all 4 usb ports to work. As a whole good product with value for money as I have got it with rs 300 only. No need for external driver.
