This adaptor is the one you’re looking for. Just beleive me.
You can choose from IDE to SATA or SATA to IDE by switching jumper from position “B” to “C” : Clever.
Your only downside is the fact that you will have to have only ONE drive on your IDE cable, since there is no jumper for Master/Slave selection.
Delivery was very fast.

Worked well and i’ve had no issues with the limited use I’ve put it through.
Used for a Power Mac G4 tower that needed a new HDD.
I used this to connect a SATA SSD using the internal IDE PATA interface.
Works.

It works with the orginal Xbox but if I tryed to use my dvd drive, I would get a error message.
So if you only play games throw your HDD this item will be fine.

I used this to install an SSD in my original Xbox – the boot time is a little long (there’s no M/S/CS jumper on the adapter) and I had to source an 80-wire PATA cable (which are almost as rare as a good condition IDE HDD), but it works fine!

It’s the other way round for me. I needed an adapter to connect an old PATA HDD to IDE port computer. And there is no return option for this purchase. They should have written instruction correctly and precise.

El adaptador cumple su función. Yo lo he empleado para adaptar un SSD a una iMac G4 (lamp), reemplazando su HDD IDE (ya no se fabrican esos discos). Funcionó a la perfección. Sin hacer ninguna modificación.
