For the money, this has surprisingly good sound. However, if you plug the auxiliary cable from your computer solidly into the speaker jack, there is NO SOUND. I basically just have to lay it on the jack(without penetration into the jack) to make the connection. Weird. The sound is good as long as you don’t bump it which disengages the auxiliary cable. Not sure what the remedy is except scotch tape. Having said that, if you want fairly decent based-filled music while you work on your computer, this should suffice and is a bargain.

Great value for the price. Bass is decent for my apartment and I really appreciate the specific bass control. It’s nice to be able to mix it yourself instead of overwhelming bass. The highs are.. quite high. Similar to H&K tweeters. Personally I would prefer a bit more mids but they may just have to break in a bit. Overall, very happy with my purchase.

…which is exactly why you would buy a product such as this. You’re not getting a miraculously-underpriced and undersized PA system, you’re getting desk speakers; these have some bass and sound clear enough at the volume levels for which they are designed. The form is manageable and the dedicated bass control knob makes it easy to add or subtract it on the fly from song to song. Extremely happy with the purchase.

These speakers are a complete waste of money. I ordered a set around a month ago and they wouldn’t work – the green power light indicated they wouldn’t even turn on. Contacted amazon and they sent a second pair out – same thing. Now, one might think – maybe user error? Nope, they just don’t work. I’ve tried other similar “plug and play” speaker sets with no issues – these are simply junk. Save your money and your time and buy something else.

Las devolví porque suenan peor que las bocinas HP que ya no sonaban de una lado (Compact Speakers 2.1) y que deseaba reemplazar con unas bocinas de calidad equivalente
Para mi es inaceptable la calidad de las bocinas de Amazon Basics al ser más caras y, teniendo bocinas mas grandes deberían sonar mejor o al menos igual que las que poseía actualmente.
Las frecuencias medias y agudas no se escuchan adecuadamente,ni ecualizando el sonido, se escucha lejanas y huecas el bajo se exagera mucho, opacando las demas frecuencias excesivamente.
Tienes que elegir entre escuchar mejor las frecuencias altas y agudas sin casi bajo, o exagerar el bass y opacar las demas frecuencias.
Si no eres exigente o buscas algo basico las recomendaria, mas no a este precio, por 300-350 serian recomendables.
Lo positivo es que el subwoofer es de madera,pero la bocinas que eligieron no me parece adecuadas
