This is basically a gaming headset ,but that doesn’t mean it cannot be used for music,web chatting etc.These are great headphones especially for the price and the comfort they offer..I am an avid gamer and I have used many gaming headphones.Before using Kotion G9000 , I thought the product quality will be poor. Hopefully they exceeded my expectation ,these are worth for the asking price. So ,here is my review:
BUILD ,DESIGNING & FEATURES —————– The design here is very attractive with the chiseled plastic look, just like transformers.The body is made of plastic and it is very glossy.The quality is average.Because if they had used high quality plastic ,then It would have bumped up its weight and price also. The black and blue color combination looks good.The Earcups are well sized ,not too big and not too small.These would be perfect for users with small to medium size ear.The cushioning is very soft and smooth.It uses PU leather outer coating. It weighs around 400 gram but it doesn’t feel that heavy.The wire is braided one and at the center we have the volume control section which also has the mute button for microphone.The plastic casing feels little flimsy and it could have been of better quality.Also the wire end lacks enough plastic coating. At the end we have the 3.5mm jack and USB connector.The USB is only for lights and 3.5 mm jack is for audio.You need an extra splitter for using the microphone on PC.The 3.5mm jack is enough for using headphones and Mic simultaneously in Android phone or smartphone.
COMFORT AND FIT —————– It fits very snugly because I got medium ear size.The padding ensure a comfortable fit and does not produce discomfort on pressure points.And these are pretty lightweight when compared to G2000.Also the headband helps the ear cups to press against my ear sides.The ear cups wrap up my ear perfectly. But my ear sides get warm after long usage.This is normal in every gaming headset.
SOUND QUALITY ———————– The sound quality is above average but these are less powerful than G2000.The bass seems a little muffled and so are the highs.But surprisingly the treble output was good.Its doesn’t sound crystal clear while gaming.Although my footsteps and gun reloading in CS GO sounds very realistic and clear enough.The explosions and various other sound effects in COD was good.As I said these are surely good for the price. The mic quality is at its best.The noise cancellation is very efficient but the sensitivity is decent only.You have put the microphone input volume to max to actually hear something.I tried recording with the inbuilt voice recording app in windows 10 and it was crystal clear.It is one of the very best in gaming microphones.
I also did some video calling and I can clearly hear the voice of the other person and vice verse.
CONCLUSION ——————- The sound quality is good for the price.I would give it a 9/10 for comfort level and the microphone quality.It fits very perfectly over my head.The padding used also seems good. The plastic casing of the inline volume control could have been better.Nevertheless ,you get what you pay for.

I just received this headphone yesterday and here is my quick review.
The headphone looks pretty good, the built quality is really impressive for this price. But, the box does not include the Kotion Each 3.5mm Stereo Jack Splitter Y-Adapter 2 male + 1 Female to be able to connect it to a PC as it shows it in the product pictures on Amazon. Now, that was a bummer as it does come with the box in other countries. I had to purchase a spliter (I purchased the Kotion Each’s spliter) which cost me around Rs.370 taking the overall headphone price to Rs.1669.
Now, Coming back to the headphone. Can’t complain, its a good product, fits nicely, Not that bulky if compared to the G2000 which is as huge as a helmet. The cable is braided and of very good quality. Good soft cushions made up of pretty decent materials. The USB plug only powers up the LEDs n they look really cool.
Coming to the sound quality, unlike other gaming headphones this one does manage to produce some bass. Its not the best for music but its not the worst too for sure. But when it comes to Gaming its really works well…9/10 for the footsteps in CSGO n u will catch all minute details. +1 for Kotion for this brilliant product for the price we are paying. The voice quality of the mic is good.
3 stars just because the picture in the description was misleading, Both Amazon n the Seller should take care of such things. I had an option to return this unit but i didn’t coz i immediately fell in love with this headset when i opened the box n preferred buying the spliter jack instead.
Overall a good buy n value for money.

I was impressed by the first look of this headset and reveiws it got here. I didn’t have high hopes because I knew I was not investing in a brand-name.
Appearance: 8/10 Look-wise, the headphones just blow it off. They look beautiful and decent. However the extra gloss makes it look cheap. Braided cable is great, but the controller is a turn off because it’s way too bulky and dangles right there near your waist. The LED gives it an edge over its rivals.
Comfort: 5/10 I thought the padding was soft enough to deliver you the comfort you need during gaming sessions. But, it’s a heavy dude sitting on your head and it gets quite uncomfortable within an hour. The ear-cups are not large enough so your ears may never adjust inside them and you’ll be having a hard time with all that ear pain. PS – I have small ears and I still couldn’t fit them inside it.
Audio: 5/10 As the headline of my review suggests, the major reason for me to return this product was the muffled sound it delivered. It was not loud enough to enjoy. My earphones get louder than this. Bass was quite normal as you’d expect, treble was good but the sound was so feeble that I had to concentrate on the audio while playing games.
Durability: 7/10 Not that sturdy, but not fragile either. Considering they’re made of plastic, they are prone to damage if handled harshly. But the plastic material is heavy and hence good. They wouldn’t break if you don’t try to break them.
Build Quality: 6/10 Considering the price point, I think the quality could have been better than this. The plastic feels cheap on the edges and the metallic brushed part (which is plastic too) is a Chinese toy-grade material. The padding however, is great and the braided cable is probably the best in this whole headset.
Overall: 6/10 All-in-all, I thought it was a good deal and ordered it with a little hesitation. Much to my dismay, the headphones didn’t meet my expectations and thus, I have to return them. I’m better off with non-gaming headsets because they do the job and don’t cost a fortune.
