I got it and installed the driver in a matter of seconds. And it started working right away.
I immediately noticed that the screen quality was just awful, and it made the entire computer glitchy, especially when using the screen attached to this adapter. It basically made my mid-range gaming laptop frustrating slow while just using a web browser, without any video or any demanding software.
I don’t think it’s an issue of my laptop – I have 9th gen i7, 16gb RAM, and RTX 3060 with USB 3.0 ports, which is where this adapter was hooked up to. Supporting two external monitors shouldn’t be an issue, though it didn’t come with a thunderbolt port (only USB C and 3.0…), which is why I tried using my USB 3.0 for the 2nd external display.
I think I’ll spend a bit more on another adapter to see if that’s any better.

I’m buy a 3.0 usb to hdmi adapter and 3.0 usb colour is blue but this product colour is white and white colour is usb 1.0 and this usb not support to hdmi adapter

The product requires a driver to work with Windows 7/8/Vista or 10. But, it does not work with Windows 11. I have McAfee antivirus which said the file may be antivirus!!!
The ReadMe PdF file is pathetic and has no useful information.
Please ensure you have earlier version of Windows before 11 and an optical drive to install the driver.
Total waste of my money.

The media could not be loaded.
Not sure why people are complaining about having to use the CD drive to install the driver. The link to download is literally in the instructions. Works as intended 1920 x 1080 at 60hz on my 60 hz monitor. The only reason it may flicker is if its not plugged in all the way (to address the other customer’s review) its not a bad product like people are claiming it to be, you just need to read the instructions and be patient!

When you extend the monitor using this adapter, the mouse lag is so high that second monitor becomes unusable. You will see the skipping of frames while watching a movie or youtube video. By the time, return window is passed, this adapter is likely to stop working because of heavy heating. One need to understand that these kind of adapters need to process lot of information coming from USB by the graphics chipset in the adapter. And the graphics chipset in this adapter is of low quality. In reality, these cheap quality products don’t have brand as such, as they are coming from China. If you really want to use USB3 type A to HDMI adapter, then you need to buy really an expensive adapter. It seems there is no other choice. Any such adapter below 1500 INR is worthless. After some time this review will not be visible to potential buyers because at some point seller will try to sell the same product using different name or brand. Ideally such sellers should be banned from selling such products.

I live in Canada. I needed a monitor adaptor to go from VGA or HDMI to USB.
My laptop is a bit older and I need two extra monitors. I have 1 HDMI port.
I needed a HDMI to USB and every place I went said no. It can’t be done. There is too much in an HDMI and can’t be adapted to a USB. USBc, yes, but not USB regular.
I ordered this adapter, and it works perfectly.
Well worth the money spent.

Very very worst product. Doesn’t get it’s drivers installed , also overheats too too much which can harm your system. Also all the instructions are in Chinese which you can’t understand. Sometimes it contained Active malware . I found it when I ordered it for the first time then I had to forcefully replaced it as there was no refund available. Replacement product also didn’t work and finally I got my refund.
