Serves the purpose!!
Recently bought JBL Sound bar and tried connecting to Mi Tv where there’s no HDMI ARC/ optical port. It just has aux port. But sound bar has no aux port.
So using this I plugged in aux from to input if this connector. Then, from the connector to soundbar I used an optical cable.
Working like a charm.

This item works perfectly as per my expectation.
I wanted to connect my gramophone which gives only analog o/p with my speaker which accepts BT, HDMI and Optical I/Ps.
BT is problematic as every time I need to pair it with an Audio to BT transmitter. Audio to HDMI converter doesn’t work if the video I/P is missing. Hence this was my last option. However there are sellers who sent me optical to audio converter without knowing the fact these things doesn’t work other way round. Finally I am really happy with this seller and the product as it works as per my expectation without introducing any noise.
Please note only one USB A to micro cable comes free with this item, hence you need to have a 5 volt USB A o/p source along with i/p audio cable as well as o/p SPDF optical cable to use this device. Also note USB cable’s length is very small, hence you might need a bigger cable, if the power source is little away from it.

Worked good for around a month and then just stopped working. It’s no good buying this product..
