Go for it if you want to extend your screen to an external monitor. With the help of this adapter, I can connect my second external monitor to my Laptop in extended mode. The reason for not giving five stars is that it requires installing a separate display driver (of course, a CD is included in the package. My laptop does not have a CD drive, and I have to search for a computer with a CD Drive). The downloadable display driver (FL2000-2.1.36287.0.exe) given in the product specification is not working with my system. However, the driver that comes with the CD – MSDisplay_MultiDev_v1.0.0.18.0 is working. Another concern is that it takes longer to detect the monitor, unlike a connection with an HDMI port.
