Works perfectly fine for me, it does everything it needs to do. It transfer sound okay-ly and the quality is perfect for my macbook. It’s also very compact and the materials are very high quality with the metal and the actual wire.
Connecting is very easy you just have to find the port on your laptop that transmits display (not for most laptops though)
Very good design overall.

Using it with MacBook Pro intel , Mbp M1 and Mac mini M1. Works flawlessly. One fourth of the apple adapter price. No heating issues. Value for money. Ordered few of them for all my apple devices.

This adapter is simply great, Actually works!! And is perfect for Ultra/mini PCs. Used it with a Dell Optiplex 3090 Ultra PC and found this to be the best and the only one which is durable and works just as it should. All other choices disappointed.

A very useful product for people who used to held presentation from their laptop at a conference/meetings/educational gathering. Sometimes the projector operators fail to meet the need at spot. This device is small but built quality is awesome. So I suggest everyone to carry this item in their bag. It’s a tiny product and won’t take a space at all. Also, I recommend to carry your own HDMI cable with you whenever you go out for such presentation.

I was looking for a way to connect my second monitor and laptop is equipped only with a HDMI port. Solution was to get a dock which is pretty expensive.
This connector is of a high quality, wire is braided, came in an original packaging.
Once you connect, you get extend as well mirror modes. Supports display in 60 Hz mode. In addition you can connect your phone to a monitor and use Samsung Dex.
Perfect solution for anyone looking to extend displays. Worth the price. Go for it.
