It’s doing its job picture quality is better than vga easily recognisable.
Only issue is I can’t access moniter control software to control settings like brightness colour temperature etc. I have to use button on moniter. With my old pc vga cable was able to do it , but with laptop it don’t.

This cable does exactly what it’s susposed to do. Take an older monitor without HDMI and give the ability to plug it into a newer pc with HDMI built in. No complaints. The packaging was surprisingly well. Would reccomend.

The VGA adaptors in this price range were very bad and get issues like screen noise in no time, but with this cable there were no issues at all and it helps in keeping hdmi connection separate so no more hassle to change pins. Also the quality is very good and the length is also very good. Overall worth it.

Best product!! I wanted to connect my PS4 with led monitor which had only dvi input. I tried many adapters & cables but failed. Finally After reading review about this cable I bought it. Got it delivered within 24 hours, thanks to amazon. It’s working like a charm.
Now coming to its build quality : it has very good build material & feels way more premium than it’s price.
Anyone who wants to connect dvi input of monitor/ tv with hdmi output of PS4/Xbox/pc/ dth should go with this product without thinking twice. Believe me, the small extra cost you are paying is worth it.
Don’t fall for cheap adapters or cables available on amazon. I have learnt this the hard way after wasting my money on them.
Overall I am very happy with this product.

La mejor opción para reutilizar un viejo monitor, de hecho se vé mejor que otros monitores más nuevos que tengo. tan sólo conecté el cable DVI detrás del monitor, y el lado de HDMI a mi tarjeta gráfica, eso es todo! No tiene ningún tipo de interferencia, windows lo reconoció de inmediato. Un gran cable, se ve de buena calidad.

The media could not be loaded.
I bought this because my LG TV went completely dead recently & right now don’t want to buy another TV (trying to repair the TV, but that will take a long time & I had an old Dell LED 24″ monitor with me, which I was not using for several years, so thought about buy this one to connect the AirTel Xtreme STB directly with the Monitor.
My monitor only has DVI & VGA ports, so I needed an HDMI to DVI converter & this device completely served my purpose.
There is no loss in the picture quality.
DVI won’t carry the audio data to your monitor, so make sure you connect the audio separately to an external device. My AirTel STB has an Optical out, which i have connected to my speaker system.
Overall very happy with the purchase. The cable seems durable. Hope it lasts for a lifetime. 🙂
