Pros: 4 heat pipes, and contact plate is well machined. lowered temps more than i expected, and provides some headroom for unlocking cores, or overclocking. Cons: the fastening clip is a nightmare. despite using standard AMD socket AM3/3+ and AM4 that come with these MoBo’s, the clip used to fasten the heat sink is a nightmare to use. there are no adjustment or means to reduce the pressure, requiring the motherboard to be removed from the case, and considerable pressure is needed to secure the heatsink onto factory AM3/4 clips. Overall Review: If you cannot find a Hyper 212 EVO or similar heatsink, you can consider this cooler. having 4 heatpipes lowered my temps and allowed me to unlock cores on Phenom II x2 555 BE (making it a Phnom II x4 B55 3.2gHz) and lowering the temps from 45c to 33c using Arctic silver (Stock voltages) and allowed me to unlock a Phenom II x4 960T to enable all 6 cores (stock voltage) and temps of 38c (previously 47c) however, I would prefer another Cooler Master 212 EVO over this heat sink. mounting and retention clips alone make it worth the extra on a 212. it cools and looks nice. over all well made, but the retention mechanism/clip are just not a good design, and if youre not careful you could easily break the Clip, the retention or your motherboard. having to remove a MoBo to attach a heat sink is all fine and well when you know this is req but. this heatsink uses the retention clip that ships with AMD AM3/4 and does not clip easily or quickly. I would have spent the same amount of time mounting an Evo 212, and not have to be worried about breaking something.

Pros: + 5 Heat-Pipes + 120mm Fan + Works with both AMD & Intel (at least according to PC-Cooler manufacture) + Suitable for OC Hot CPU like I7, i9, Ryzen 1700x/2700x (up to 160w CPUs) + Only costs about $24 (at time of making this Review at least) + Comes with Red LED in shape of a circle, it’s not super bright, but it’s a good touch Edit: + OC my Ryzen 2600 up to 4.0GHz at stable 60c in gaming, 75c in Prime95 (Stress Test Program) Might get 4.1GHz with this cooler, but don’t want to torture my CPU at daily basis Cons: – Thermal Paste comes with it is cheap (will do the work).. changing it into good one will make your temps go around 5C to 7C less heat – Kinda annoying to install it, but there’s Installing Guide comes with it (experts won’t have issues) Overall Review: * 160w for only $24, that’s best CPU compared to the price (best deal for Price for Performance) * Example: Ryzen 2600 only need 65w fan (stock speeds, with OC it’s more like 95w), while this big boy is 160w xD * Ryzen 2700x & i9 – 9900k is mostly 105w(stock speeds), so this is ideal for OC * I think this has similar power (more or less) to Evo 212 & Gammaxx 400, couldn’t find a video nither comparison in Google * This Cooler released in 2018 December, so it’s a new Cooler and needs time for being recognized by people and maybe a reviewers

Pros: -It’s super cheap (picked up on sale for $16) -Pretty silent under load -Led ring is pretty bright and vibrant -Overall looks really good -It’s better than stock the heatsink Cons: -Included thermal paste is the wrong kind of cheap and recommend using something else -It’s a 4 pipe design disguised as a 5 (2 of the pipes are only half pipes, so you technically get only 4 cooper heat pipes per left and right side) -Not really rated for 160W -i7 2600k @ 4.2 GHz will idle at 50C and stays around 90C under load -Preforms a lot worse than a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo Overall Review: Eh you get what you pay for and would honestly pass on this cooler if you plan on even trying a mild cpu overclock as it just doesn’t preform as good as it looks. Like I said in the cons, the included thermal paste is really poor (7-8C drop just by changing out the thermal paste) and by the time you buy better thermal paste like an Arctic Silver or something you might as well buy a 212 Evo or Gammaxx 400 as those will overall preform better and come with decent thermal compound out of the box. Running an i7 2600k(95W TDP) with this cooler I could not hit past 4.2ghz without thermal throttling compared to using a 212 Evo that was able to hit a stable 4.5 GHz @ 70C under the same circumstances.
