Noctua NH-U9S, Premium CPU Cooler with NF-A9 92mm Fan (Brown)
₹5,892.00
Continuing the renowned legacy of Noctua’s NH-U9 series, the NH-U9S is a premium quality quiet CPU cooler in classic 9cm size. Its asymmetrical design with 5 heatpipes not only provides even better cooling performance than the previous generation but also improves compatibility: Thanks to its 95x95mm footprint, the NH-U9S clears the RAM and PCIe slots on all Intel and most AMD based mainboards, including µATX and ITX. Combined with its 125mm height, this makes the NH-U9S a highly versatile solution with excellent case, RAM and PCIe compatibility. The included NF-A9 premium fan supports automatic speed control via PWM for outstanding quietness of operation and a second, optional NF-A9 fan can be added for further improved performance in dual fan mode. Topped off with the trusted, pro-grade SecuFirm2 multi-socket mounting system and Noctua’s proven NT-H1 thermal compound, the NH-U9S is a deluxe choice through and through.
Like its bigger brothers NH-U12S and NH-U14S, the NH-U9S features a revised, slimmer layout: Whereas the NH-U9B SE2 was 120mm deep with its two stock fans, the NH-U9S is asymmetrically built and measures only 95mm with its single, more efficient NF-A9 fan, thus providing better performance and compatibility at the same time. |
With its 95x95mm footprint, the NH-U9S does not overhang the RAM slots on current Intel and most AMD mainboards. This gives the user full access to the memory modules and guarantees 100% compatibility with tall heatspreaders or optional memory fans. |
Many Intel LGA115x based mini-ITX mainboards have the PCIe slot sitting right next to the 95x95mm socket zone. While larger coolers that exceed this zone are likely to block the PCIe slot, the 95x95xmm sized NH-U9S provides full compatibility with PCIe cards, be it on ATX, microATX or ITX. |
Noctua’s much-acclaimed NT-H1 is a pro-grade TIM solution that provides minimum thermal resistance, excellent ease of use and outstanding reliability. Chosen again and again by overclockers and enthusiast users worldwide, it has established itself as a benchmark for premium-quality thermal compounds. |

Pros: – Compact: Fits a 4U Rackmount case – Doesn’t get in the way of anything on my motherboard (ASUS Sabertooth x99) – Really quiet fans! – Comes with Thermal paste & other goodies! – Solid Construction, great packaging and instructions! – Efficient (Keeps my 6800k @ 29-31c on idle with the “silent” fan profile in the bios) Cons: – A bit tricky/hard to line up the heat sink with the pegs so you can screw it down with their special Phillips tool. The trick for me was to barely screw one in so it catches enough and then start screwing in the other one until it catches while pressing it towards that peg. Other then that, it was really simple install and the instructions are easy to follow. – A little expensive. – Fan color is ugly, but whatever – Doesn’t come with an additional fan (For that price I it should) – They do give you the wire clamps for a second one though, which is nice. Overall Review: I struggled to find a cooler that would fit in a 4U case but be good enough to cool a high end CPU like the 6800k. Running this cooler in a 4U Rackmount case with an ASUS Sabertooth x99 running a i7-6800k and I’m very happy with it. Fits well and I’ve had no issues with it. Its very quiet and keeps the CPU cool at stock speeds.

Pros: Very effective cooling. XMP profile 1 boots to nearly 5ghz and the cooler takes care of business. CPU Core i7 8700 K 32 c at idle and 63c at full load. Cons: None

Pros: It’s from Noctua, My Ryzen R5 2600X 20c temp drop from the stock AMD wraith spire Cooler it’s the best cooler for AM4 mini-tix builds. *Case I’m using: Thermaltake Core V1 (fits nicely without blocking the dual rear fans). *You can change the thermal paste easily even on mini-itx motherboard without even removing the RAM or anything else all it takes is just unscrew the cooler without even touching the back plate change the thermal paste screw the cooler again your done without any mess!, good job Noctua. Cons: N/A
