Pros: 16 cores. Amazing for multi-threaded jobs like rendering etc. Cons: No overclocking supported. Very insignificant performance increases capable with the SR-X board. Overall Review: I was reluctant at first to purchase the 2.7ghz version of this cpu vs the higher priced 3.1ghz E5-2687W, assuming that the lower clock would make my single threaded experience unreliably slow. Not so and I’m happy to report that this processor feels every bit as fast as my Six core I7 Sandy Bridge for every day tasks. It frequently scales up to 3.5ghz when streaming video etc and to around 3.1ghz when rendering on all cores. Definitely worth the saving I made when purchasing two of them.

Pros: -Got it -Paid a good price for a old CPU. Cons: -I bought 2 of them and they got it shipped at different time which was a little weird.
