Pros: 10 cores, 20 threads, 2.2ghz to 3.0ghz turbo. Stays at 2.6ghz most of the time. AMAZING Processor. Have 2 of these in a massive super workstation. 3x faster render times in 3ds Max. Cinebench score of 2286! Have to go up 3k more for the highest score recorded so far, which is 2600. Highly Recommended for workstation use such as 3D animation, modeling, AE, Premiere, etc. Cons: Too Expensive, but worth the money compared to everything else out today. Becareful with the motherboard you choose to put these in, very few support these without a bios update which requires the sandy bridge xeon to update.

Pros: Fast shipping, excellent packaging, thermal paste was included, works perfectly Cons: None Overall Review: If you are looking for an upgrade to a tired old computer this is great. Had Dell Precision 3610 with Xeon quad core that was becoming very sluggish during use. Ordered this processor to upgrade and was very surprised to see it included the thermal paste and was packed inside a plastic case with padded foam insert – better packaging than many new processors. Installed in computer then powered it on and checked BIOS – all cores recognized. Ran stress tests all night on all cores with 100% pass identified. Even though the computer is technically not compatible, I loaded Windows 11 Pro and the computer runs it better than my 6core gaming laptop. I have a friend with a matching Precision 3610 who was ditching it. Will be getting in in a week and will buy this processor again to upgrade it as well. Planning to run Ubuntu 2204 on that one. This was my first purchase from “MET Servers”, but it will not be my last.
