Pros: Salvaged / used CPU with many threads and a good price point. Replacing a 6 core Xeon so much more capability. Cons: One of the 10 cores was DOA. It would post and start to load an OS but would lock up consistently. VMware’s install pointed me to a bad core as the problem and after disabling / enabling some in the motherboard’s BIOS I was able to narrow it down to a single core. It’s not worth me returning it for a replacement but something to keep in mind when dealing with used hardware. Overall Review: Still good value for the cost.
