Pros: Fast. Out performs my i7 940 workstation. ECC Support. FREE. All told I am happy with this CPU and really think it is the best for the money. Cons: None Overall Review: I didnt buy this at the Egg, or anywhere for that mater. My company is an Intel Partner and I received this in a full server at an Intel/ MS workshop so it was free. I would have purchased it when I was ready for an upgrade. Since this is used in a workstation, I really think it is a great value and am currently ordering 3 for other employee upgrades.

Pros: -Low TDP (29-31 degrees C at idle; never goes above 52 in Prime95) -Hyperthreading -High clock speed (since I also use this PC for gaming) -Neck and neck with i7 2600k in almost all benchmarks for almost $60 less. -Stupid fast. I don’t wait for anything to load anymore. -Accepts ECC memory -Never goes above 15% usage across all 8 threads doing anything Cons: Would’ve liked a little room for some OC’ing, but I knew what I buying beforehand so it doesn’t really matter. Overall Review: -HAF 912 -E3-1240 -AsRock p67 Extreme mobo -8 GB G.Skill Ripjaws Cas 7 -M4 60GB SSD -Caviar Blue 500 GB -ASUS sound card -Gigabyte 1GB HD6950 -ASUS SATA DVD combo
