Pros: Fast! Like, should be ticketed fast! 4 cores, 8 threads, all recognized on a Z77 board in Windows 7 Home Premium. Has a tweaked version of the HD 3000 graphics, better optimized for work instead of gaming, so Quick Sync is better. Also, Quick Sync is amazing! Able to transcode video while playing Skyrim or Crysis and lose next to nothing in terms of FPS! Runs cool and quiet. Stock cooler is low profile, but hides a big chunk of copper inside. Highest temp I’ve gotten so far is 45C. Turbos and throttles down nicely. Above all, much lower price than a Core i7. Granted, performance lies somewhere between i7-2600 and i5-2500k, as does the price. Cons: UPS delivered it a day early. Oh wait, that’s not a bad thing. Overall Review: Mated with an ASRock Z77 board (Item N82E16813157306) nVidia GTX550ti by Asus (item N82E16814121435) 8GB (4GBx2) G.Skill DDR3-1600 (item N82E16820231428) Corsair Force 3 90GB (item N82E16820233204) A couple of 1TB storage drives Antec Neo Eco 620 (item N82E16817371031) Packed in NZXT Source 210 Elite (item N82E16811146077) Couldn’t be happier with this. If wondering if you should buy this, the answer is “YES!”

Pros: Handles anything I throw at it. Cons: Have to get something different than the stock heatsink. I’ve gotten this up to 190F just watching 720p flash videos. I know Flash videos don’t use resources efficiently, but wow. Buying a thermaltake closed-loop water cooler now.
