Doesn’t hold much but looks good and sturdy if what you want is a ‘slim’ backpack for flights etc. Needs a few minor upgrades. No key holder, so I added a small carabiner to the laptop securing strap. The zips for the outside pockets are hard to get at so I added a couple of zip pulls to make it easier. Just about enough room to hold what I would carry to put under the seat on a flight but not really designed for ‘stuffing’. Black Friday deal price made it a decent buy.

Very pleased with this bag. I had an old Targus but that weighed almost 1kg, and wanted something lighter. This fits the bill, while, crucially, retaining decent protection, even at the bottom of the bag. I tried a few other bags which, even if lighter, had absolutely awful protection, my laptops didn’t feel safe in those so I returned them. This one however I’ll be keeping. Be sure to get his model – the advanced is slightly heavier (650g) but has a LOT more pockets (including 2 secret ones on the front) and separate compartment for the laptop which really helps. Quality/padding is better to than the cheaper “essential” one. For 30ish this thing is a total bargain.

I like the material and finish, ideal size also. It’s not two tone as in the pictures. The all black looks very good. I wanted a slim bag and that’s what I got. Would have liked if the the shoulder strap fasteners were not hanging loose, otherwise no complaints.

Dieser Rucksack von Targus hat ein Fassungsvolumen von 27 Liter und kann ein 15,6 Zoll Laptop beherbergen; sogar in einer passgenauen Laptophülle. Zudem ist dieser Rucksack rundum gut gepolstert, was bei vielen Rucksackherstellern nicht gegeben ist oder die Rucksäcke mehr als 40 Euro kosten bei einer rundum Polsterung.. Eigentlich bieten sehr wenige Hersteller eine rundum Polsterung.
Ich kann diesen Rucksack allen Technikfans empfehlen. Dennoch sollte man seine 1.000 Euro aufwärts Techniksachen nicht ohne der eigenen gerätespezifischen Hüllen transportieren. Ich habe ihn mir zwei mal gekauft 🙂
Auf Regen habe ich diesen Targusrucksack nicht getestet, weil ich damit noch nicht im Regen war.
