Pour son prix de départ (sans les leds, qui ne servent strictement à rien, de la version chroma 10€ plus chère) elle est vraiment au dessus du panier de sa catégorie et elle va même titiller les manettes deux fois plus chères, dont la manette Xbox de base. Ayant utilisé la manette Xbox et ses évolution pendant près de 15 ans c’est à elle que je vais la comparer.
Les + :
– Les deux boutons sous son corps, qui font office de palettes, sont un gros avantage. Ils sont agréables, fonctionnels, ergonomiques, et franchement ce système à la base mis en place parce que moins cher à produire est largement préférable aux palettes.
– Le contrôle du volume casque et du mute a l’air moche mais s’avère solide, fonctionnel et même agréable à utiliser.
– Les boutons XBYA sont à peine plus serrés et plus étroits, mais c’est tellement infime que ça ne fait pas grande différence. Ils cliquent aussi bien.
РEntre sa surface inf̩rieure stri̩e et sa surface sup̩rieure velout̩e, le grip est tr̬s agr̩able.
– Elle est un peu plus légère mais ne fait globalement pas plus cheap. On a le sensation d’avoir quelque chose de solide dans les mains.
Les – :
– Le trou d’entrée du câble USB n’a pas été prévu pour permettre l’utilisation de n’importe quel cable mais pour serrer le câble fourni. Cela a l’avantage de bien tenir le dit câble, qui est plutôt cheap et pas assez long pour jouer en salon, mais ça frustre particulièrement quand on veut utiliser son câble préféré. La solution est de passer le trou au Dremel pour permettre l’entrée d’autres câbles, mais on peut alors dire aurevoir à sa garantie.
– Les plastique velouté à sa surface supérieure prend fortement le gras des mains. Il suffit de quelques minutes de jeu pour qu’elle devienne brillante.
– Les triggers (boutons avants bas) sont plus bruyants, et avec le genre de bruit qui fait très cheap. La course est un poil plus courte et surtout repoussée par des ressorts de faible résistance. Niveau qualité c’est la seule chose qui est vraiment notablement moins bonne. Cela peut être corrigé si on est bricoleur, mais encore une fois on y laissera la garantie.
– Les bumpers (avant haut) sont moins bruyants mais pas dans le bon sens, il manque le petit clic réactif des boutons. Ça marche, mais il manque quelque chose de satisfaisant.
– La croix directionnelle est plus molle. Elle résiste bien mais là aussi il manque le clic satisfaisant d’une manette Xbox.
– Les analogiques ont une course légèrement plus courte et résistante. C’est un peu surprenant quand on a l’habitude de la Xbox et ça peut poser quelques soucis de précision. Les analogiques sont ce qu’on a le plus l’habitude d’utiliser, on a fortement construit une mémoire musculaire pour les gérer, du coup changer la course et la résistance provoque des petits ratés et il faut corriger une mémoire fortement inscrite, ça peut prendre du temps. Cependant ils fonctionnent bien, il n’y a pas d’inconsistance, de sautillements etc, c’est juste qu’il faut s’y faire la main.
Malgré ses défauts, à la vue de ses avantages énormes (boutons “palettes”, contrôle son, et prix), je préfère cette manette à une Xbox de base. Ce qui est énorme vu comment celle de Microsoft est une référence. Mais cette préférence est sur “sortie de boite”, la manette Xbox est un petit monstre de durabilité, elle peut tenir plusieurs années de jeu intensif sans broncher. Celle là on ne sait pas. Donc à voir dans le temps.
Perso je la conseillerais plutôt à des personnes qui savent modifier de manettes et qui cherchent une base de départ pas chère pour la modder. Et que dans sa version de base, la chroma rend le deal moins intéressant sans rien apporter de mieux.

Both the triggers have broken within 8 months of usage, Right trigger is completely broken it takes wrong fluctuating input, does not even go the full 100 anymore, and pressing the left trigger till 100 also activates the right one. All this within 8 months and I didn’t even use it that roughly or regularly. I have raised a ticket in PowerA support site (Global) awaiting response.
Update: – To my surprise the warranty claim was the easiest I have EVER experienced, after I raised a request, they instantly reached out and asked for pictures/numbers of the Product and the packaging and within 2-3 weeks I got the replacement product. This definitely redeemed PowerA in my eyes.

Es un buen producto, cumple con lo necesario para el Xbox, lo que más me gustó fe, su cable de tres metros para conectarlo, lo que no me guso es que, al momento de ponerme los audÃfonos se escucha más el juego que el audio de los compañeros y que no viene con su Game Pass de un mes como viene en la caja

PowerA controller have basic Xbox Series X controller design. Those two extra buttons really helps. I bound those to LS(left) – RS(Right). If you really want ToP level Elite Pro Controller for Xbox series X controller then go for Razer or Xbox Elite controller. Do use a kontrol freak though, for better use. Left Medium and Right Tall. By the way I’m a PC gamer. Mainly play Battlefield and Assassin’s Creed like title or Devil May Cry… If you face any problem like joystick drift or something do repair it it’s easy repair you can find the video on online or buy new controller :)) Stick tension is like basic Xbox controller. In this price range it’s the best.

I purchased the PowerA Mist controller and it was a good value. The inclusion of back buttons was a definite plus and it worked perfect for daily use on both PC and Xbox with no input or wire issues.
However, after about 5 months of use, I started experiencing stick drift, which has been the only major downside so far. To be fair every controller will develop stick drift, it’s just a matter of when and this issue will vary from person to person. I am only knocking down a star because for my personal experience 5 months or so was a bit quick. For reference my xbox that came with the series s lasted about 2 years without issue. While there are potential fixes for this problem, I haven’t tried them yet as I don’t play as much.
Overall, it’s a decent controller for the price, but the stick drift issue could be a concern. When the controller is working at 100%, I prefer it over the standard controller however the standard controller will last longer.

Totally Supportable with Windows 10/11. Earlier I was using Zebronic and Frontech Joysticks but both were not supported on my Windows (Windows 10 23H2 Version)but this does with just Plug and Play feature. I brought it mainly for MotoGP 21,22 and also for SBK22 and it worked great there. I really recommend this personally who want great Joystick for PC/Windows support and mainly for racing games enthusiast.

Aunque no tenga fotos de el control, es una chulada de producto, creà era original pero es como un clon del original, pero se siente super cómodo, el material tiene como una porosidad agradable para que no se te resbale el control y tanto los botones como palancas son una joya, es cierto que a algunos les da lata instalarlo pa que reconozca su pc, pero la verdad es que en mi caso, solo tuve que conectarlo en los puertos usb de mi pc de adelante o de atrás para que funcione, no en los puertos adicionales por adaptadores.

Stick drift starts for the product within 5 months with just moderate use playing only FIFA online. It is unusable at this point of time as the stick drift is too much and there is no way to control direction accurately now. This is really unacceptable for a product that costs this much and dosen’t even last for 6 months.
Adding: I have changed my rating to 4 because powerA has given me a hassle free warranty replacement after I filed for warranty claim on their site. They have sent me a brand new controller and as a customer I am very satisfied.
