Very poor product…they cost around 1700 but leptop is not getting charged….after 2-3 times of use…we need to push n pop the charging plug for 15-20 times than by chance leptop will get charge….not worth money

I have been using the charger for macbook pro 2013 . It has given me issues sometimes .. the charger stops working sometimes and then i have to manhandle it from neck to bottom then it works .. so not so good after all …

I initially ordered this charger in 2020 during the height of the pandemic as the original apple charger seemed too expensive at rs. 7500.
Worked well for 8months before dying and I replaced it within warranty, the replacement was quick and effective. 3 months later, replacement died too, so I ordered a new one. Same story repeated again,for 8 months the original one worked and the replacement worked for 3 months.
It is a good charger if you want to use it as an alternative to apple, however remember that it costs 1/4th so it also works for 1/4th the life. Charges the laptop just as well as the original.
TLDR : it’s like a yearly subscription based charger, will work well for a year, then you have to order a new one.

So, this review is a long one. I initially purchased the product sometime in Oct. Amazon deliveries are seamless so i recieved the product pretty quickly. I faced some issue with the adaptor and quickly requested for a replacement which was also done very quickly. One month into using the product it died & this time i had to contact the brand to be able to replace the product which was under warranty. I was asked to go to the nearest authorised service centre, which i did. There they collected the charger and told me it will take 8-10 days to get it replaced. This was an extreme bummer as i had visited expecting to get a replacement immediately. Had to face downtime with my work laptop for that long. Finally got the replacement after 8 days and i was using the product untill it died on me again recently. So far the experience had left a sour taste in my mouth
I am in a different city from where i had purchased. I got in touch with their official customer support number. I connected with a gentleman named Shahnawaz and i told him the experience i had faced thus far. Now here’s where the right approach towards customer service makes a difference.
The 1st thing done was that they owned up to the fault in their product. Apparently, the batch of products had a faulty component & i was informed about it.
The local service center would have again taken 8-10 days for replacement. So Shahnawaz requested me if i can courier the product to him & he would also immediately send across a replacement. All of this got managed within 2days.
This really changed my mind regarding the brand. I guess they are now trying hard to make the product better and give a better experience to their customers.
I will update this review again after a few months to comment on the replaced product.
All the stars i have given are only for the renewed approach towards customer service.

After purchasing about 10months the cable or the adapter is having problem….it doesn’t take the charge with it’s own either the wire has to move in different direction or the adapter…….and in the same electric point when I put my mobile charge it takes but in my Mac it takes time until I move the wire in the different direction.

Its just okay. Gets hot very quickly which is a concerning issue, the plug is different from that in the pictures, extremely disappointing. Feels cheap to touch. Cable isn’t long enough to comfortably use at a desk.
Expensive for the quality provided.
Updating after using a few weeks, got a replacement and it works much better.
