This review is based on application of keycaps of a HyperX Alloy Origins Core TKL with HyperX Aqua switches without any mods.
Pros: -Thick AF keycaps with amazing sounds -The texture on top is amazing and feels good on fingertips -The font is decent -Standard bottom row layout -Good visibility with RGB off
Cons: -Light bleeds through the body of keycaps especially at higher brightness levels. Makes them look cheap and translucent. -Fitting issues : I faced fitting issues on both of my HyperX and Corsair K95 keyboards. I don’t know what’s the root cause but some of the keys doesn’t press in smoothly and scrape over switches. It might be due to the stem design of keycaps. Not expected from Corsair at this price point.
Conclusion: I have used Corsair Double Shot PBT Keycaps (the old ones with non-standard bottom row) and they were superior than these Double Shot PBT Pro keycaps. Its confusing why Corsair screwed a perfectly working formula and went many step backwards. Hope they fix it in their next batches!

Though the Key caps are for Corsair keyboards that are pretty much all RGB these key caps don’t work well with it. The key caps let to much light bleed through and make most of the RGB effects look bad on a keyboard. Maybe the other colours aren’t as bad but the reds looked bad with any RGB effect.

Considerate che sulla mia k95 corsair rgb (la versione completa con i 18 tasti funzione) alcuni tasti non sono adatti: quello dell’invio, che nel mio caso è fatto ad L rovesciata, e quello dello spazio (che non si aggancia in quanto sfafato di alcuni millimetri), i tasti windows che sono troppo larghi. Cambio di tastiere poi da italiana a inglese. Per il resto plastiche di altro pregio rispetto al modesto abs delle K corsair. Consigliato per chi oramai scrive indifferentemente anche sulle tastiere inglesi.
