Pros: Simple, fast, reliable, cool. Was easy to install. The mobo I paired up with this was the Asrock fatal1ty H87 performance, for a simple straightforward gaming build. I dont need OC capabilities so having a locked cpu is not a con to me. Performance is close enough to the i7 4770 with a sweeter price tag! Cons: no cons yet

Pros: I’ve been running this for a week now 24/7 and its working great. I’ve got it installed on a SuperMicro X10SAT motherboard without any issues and its running ESXi 5.5. Everything runs smoothly in ESXi with it and it can handle a serious load of VM’s without issue. It does give off some heat but It’s being cooled by a Noctua D14 so it’s never an issue for me. Haswell quality is great and give you great performance to power usage ratio for the money. Just remember this does not have onboard graphics but I think the 3.2ghz version does if you need it. Cons: None Overall Review: Haswell and ESXi5.5 are great friends so far. Great performance for the price, especially if you need things like vt-d. Would recommend over an i7 if you’re not gaming like me and using it for server purposes.

Pros: This processor is great for gaming! But it really shines for video rendering, and workstation tasks, since it is after all, a Xeon. For those of you who want a 4770k without the ability to overclock, or don’t plan to overclock, with no integrated graphics card, for $100 cheaper, buy this immediately. My old Core i7 920 @ 3.6GHz took 1 hour to render a 1080p 30 minute video. This thing takes 29 minutes. I saw my performance jump up in games by 50fps. But the real time it shines is when i’m streaming. When i’m streaming i’ve noticed gains of up to 70%. Is it great for gaming? Absolutely. Is it great for workstation tasks? absolutely. Would I buy this again? You’re darn right i would! Cons: The only thing I can think of, would be the lack of overclocking power. Though you should know that since it’s a Xeon. So I can’t dock an egg for something i already knew i wasn’t going to be able to do. Overall Review: This thing is just phenomenal. I can’t wait to unlock it’s full potential when i upgrade to a GTX 780Ti.
