I’m unsure why other reviewers were struggling with reliability, but when i installed a 1TB SSD, it worked just as described with included cable. Not a hitch. It’s form factor makes it easy to grip, and the rippled top acts like a heat sink drawing heat away from my phone. A powerful magnetic base ensures it stays attached.
The 2230 SSD does make this kind of solution a bit more expensive out of the box than say, a larger but less expensive drive. However i’ve experienced absolutely no abnormal heat issues using a high quality SSD, and ‘the fit’ more than makes up for a few bucks i’d save going with a cheaper drive. Hats off to ACASIS for a well build and solidly engineered product for so little money.
Bonus: due to the solid magnet in the ACASIS base, i was able to attach a MagSafe ring atop my 10,000mah MagSafe battery pack for extra long video life. the accompanying cable fits such a stacked rig really well and it feels good in my hands. not too heavy and well balanced. of course everyone’s hands are different — but it works for me!

This seems feels heavy and bulky compared to its size, but when you magnetically attach it to MagSafe of a mobile device, you will notice that its size and weight becomes an unnoticeably addition to your device. The metal case is thick probably for good heat dissipation, so the size and weight can be excused. MagSafe attachment is quite strong, so it stays quite well in place. It comes with a short cable, but note that it is not the cable shown on the product visuals, it does not have a 90-degree plug. I have not made speed measurement tests, but I am quite happy with the speed it operates.

This enclosure is perfect for iPhone users who want to expand storage or transfer data from their phones. It’s easy to assemble and use and needs no expertise.

I connected to a MacBook Pro using a memory card that is compatible with the reader but it does not work on the MacBook. This is only designed for iPhone 15+ with the c type charger so I haven’t been able to test that since I don’t have the adapter. I reached out to support twice with the issue about compatibility with MacBook Pro and did not receive any support to actually make it work. Would not recommend this purchase

😔 Malheureusement se système qui est le NVMe 2230 MP600 CORE MINI CORSAIR , ne fonctionne actuellement pas sur IPhone 15 Pro Max . Pourquoi comment ⁉️ Cela vient peut être du logiciel interne du NVMe 2230 MP600 CORE MINI CORSAIR . Ou du câble ⁉️ même si la petite lumière bleue est On qui montre qu’il est bien en tension même sur PC windows ne le détecte pas non plus ⁉️ j’espère que le vendeur pourra m’aider à trouver une vrai solution. 👋
