Initial impressions were good. Nicely built n sturdy. But I connected to my laptop its was u discoverable, then to my samsung phone! it damaged my phone’s type c port….beware before u try to connect . returning this product . and also instead of total writes it shows disk capacity as header but shows the value of total writes poor quality check. now I have to visit service center for my phone

The build quality is amazing, all metal build. Its screen with smart drive data is nice to have as it shows the nvme drive temperature. If you are connecting it to a USB C 3.2 port you can expect a 1000MB per second read speed and 925 MB per second write speed. The sustained write speed on windows 11 in real life is somewhere in between 500 to 600 MB per second. That’s very nice. If you are purchasing an nvme for using it with this do only buy the gen 3 NVME as the maximum speed this can give is 10Gbps which is only equal to 1250 MB/s and for that max speed a Gen3 NVME is more than sufficient.
