It’s an okay product. The transparent case looks nice and the tool-free design is convenient. However, it heats up quickly and I’m concerned about longevity. Also, I ordered a 4TB SSD but the enclosure only recognizes 1TB. Needs improvement. Rating: Under 4/5 stars

I was skeptical before buying this hdd case, but when I used this, I was blown away by the build quality of this product along with all the cables and adaptor, the build quality is Solid! We get 4 screws in the bottom to secure our hdd. And the transfer speeds are also good (around 120-140 MB/s). I like the little circular light around the power button. The attention to detail in this product is great.
Overall if you want to buy a hdd case for your internal hard drives go with this one without thinking twice. A totally recommended product!

Initially I was sceptical, however just ordered it as it was just 599 and same day delivery.
Was amazed by the quality for this price and the cables alone can be worth 250 or more. Not too long or short.
Not sure about heating issues, but installation was easy. Just pop in your m.2 drive and forget about it.
Good read speeds for this price, close to 1000Read and 800 write on Gen3 nvme, not sure if this differs with Gen4.

The product is of very good quality and serves its purpose as expected. It is super easy to install hard disk in the case without the need of any tools. It also has compatibility across various platforms. Although not designed for the purpose of protection of hard drive, it is still good. Its portability makes it my key choice. There is not any provision for heat dissipation of installed disk.

The build quality and speed are on par with pricier enclosures, and I’d fully recommend it for traditional magnetic HDDs. BUT it’s not suitable for SSDs because the SSDs are detected as HDDs if housed in this enclosure. I tried with various SSDs with the same result. I have an EVM enclosure which has the same issue. All SSDs were properly detected as SSDs in Orico and Dyazo enclosures.
It’s a problem because if it’s not detected as an SSD, Windows cannot perform TRIM on the SSD resulting in extra writes and gradual degradation in performance of the SSD.
I’m sharing screenshots of the same 512GB Orico SSD being detected as HDD in this enclosure and as SSD in Dyazo enclosure.
