Excellent build quality and design. Works as expected. Will update the long term review after a year or so.
Go for this if you need high speed Type C as well as Type A ports and HDMI 4K@60Hz. Cheaper products available but they offer HDMI 4K@30Hz.

I’ve been using TP-Link external powered USB hubs for over a year, with one of them in use for more than two years. So far, I’ve purchased three of these hubs. I use them for long hours, and they consistently deliver as expected. This particular model also includes two USB charging ports, which is an added advantage for me.

Review: TP-link is an extremely reliable company in terms of electronics and they did not disappoint this time as well. The product is as described and works perfectly with my M4 MacBook pro. However, some heating issues were encountered during the editing time but it must be normal I guess. The item was poorly packaged with just an invoice sticker on it.

I had been hunting for a USB hub for office/home work. Since Covid hybrid has been the norm. So wanted to hub that would work with my monitor and devices. So it works perfectly fine. So far have not had any issues. You can go for it. Also if you find the wire short you can use this usb extender. Its worth the price. So far so good. I have dell usb speaker, a monitor, a web camera and usb dongel for my mouse and keyboard. good luck! The ports are sufficient too.

Using it for a long, long time now. Love the quality, the build but the cable is too damn short. I understand it’s for purposes of aesthetics, but a USB hub should be designed for functionality. However, that’s just me.
Please buy it. It’s the best costly USB Hub you can have in your arsenal.
