The max range for this device wifi is only 2.5 m, after which it can’t even be detected. Also the max speed for this device 20mbps . I
installed it where 40mbps is wifi speed and it throws 20mbps and not constant. Speed keeps on varying from 0.5 mbps to 20mbps . Not reliable.

This product was purchased to increase wifi range in my home. Although, it has done that and network is easily boosted across the areas where low network was seen, the overall speed has reduced, frequently disconnections are seen and latency high on few sites. The speestest sites don’t show any drop in results, but you will see these issues when using your data(which Franky is perplexing for me).
I use Jiofiber base plan 30 Mbps, and without the extender there were no issues. Jio says do not use third party device on their routers, now I have no option to return it as the window is closed.
Be very careful with extenders and consult your wifi dealer which one suits your device, otherwise your money will be lost.
It may happen this device works wonders with other networks, but for Jio I am not satisfied.

I bought this as a replacement for my 3-year old D-Link DAP-1320 WiFi range extender, and have to say that it is a worthy successor.
The presence of external antennas has resulted in a reasonable increase in coverage area and signal strength quality. Setup is easy, and the connection is usually reliable. There will be signal occasional drops in home use, but it can be easily fixed by changing the Channel in the modem/router.
The only gripe is the presence of the LED indicators for connection & signal strength, which being at the top of the device (and not on the front), is not visible easily.
