I have an original, black 3DS XL and these did not fit in the stylus slot. It will say on your 3DS if it is “new” or not. They work great as styluses, but make sure you’re not getting these if you have the wrong system.

I recently bought a used “New 3ds XL” it was in great condition and the owner took really good care of it, but he lost the Stylus. So I ordered this set and well it works perfectly and I really can’t complain, its just a bit of a tight fit trying to remove, and placing it back into its slot.

Mine fit properly in a Pikachu model New 3DS XL. I imagine they have poor QA so some batches are better than others. It’s not as nice as an OEM replacement but they get the job done.

They came fast and are a good price. Dont fit in the slot on my son’s 3ds but that’s my own mistake.
