wow … it’s work as it should i have dell Inspiron 15 7000 (7567) with core i 7, 7 th gen HQ processor recently i fix my motherboard short circuit problem by myself, but in that process i had to remove the paste that came with laptop and at that time I didn’t have some good paste, so simply used normal paste which was totally fake……. this cause my cpu temp to go as high as 97° C without any heavy use (browsing on Microsoft edge?…..this cause my fan to run on full speed all the time and it was very annoying so curiously i checked temp of cpu and i was shocked. as i guessed it was all bcz of that cheap paste that come in syringes ( cost about 100 rs)….. after i put mastergel pro….temp is 71°C max at full loads…..fan are also quiter now…. trust me guys…..if you are gamer …..go for it. overall i loved it never compromise with so costly CPU and GPU bcz one of my friend has predators core i5 gtx 1050ti and he used to play a lot of high end game and sadly his gpu got fried so must use for cpu and gpu both if i compare it with its lower series i.e coller mastergel, i will say going 100 rs more will be good decision compared to cost of gaming cpu and gpu
just diducted one star for price, but for performance its 5 star

i have cpu that is not overclock and after applying this paste i was hoping for good improvement on temperature reduction. but sadly it didn’t much help just minor help while playing game like csgo(from starting). May be 4-5 degree Celsius impact on temp. price and effectiveness doesn’t do justice at all. wait for big price drop.

I have a handful of older MBPs that I work with- the early 2015 and 2013 (latter runs on Manjaro Linux) being the main ones. Both had severe heating issues. This thermal paste came as a good resource. Installation was easy, I might have installed a tad more gel than required- in a couple of days will check on the ‘spread’ of the thermal compound. On the 2013 MBP- looks ok so far (see towards the end)
Coming to the Cooler Master MasterGel Pro Thermal Paste The packaging was good, the grease removal tissue is a nice gesture. Qtips or a soft tissue/ cloth are needed for cleaning around edges / hard to reach areas.
Installed the thermal paste on the 2015 MBP myself. First time, I had applied a tad too much, and had to remove and reinstall (see last image). Good that the paste lasts for more than one use.
For the 2013 MBP I had to go to a service technician because the screws were wayyy to tight. Less than 24 hours later, here are the early results:
a. Using the Macs Fan control app on Mac, I have been testing the temperatures. On boot, get about 65 Dec C per core. While idling, temperature drops to about 42 Deg C. While installing macOS Mojave, the temp went up to high 80s, this morning it shot up to 80 again when no visible task was running. Am checking the logs/task manager to see what the issue might be.
Temps before installing/ replacing this thermal paste were around 75-80 Deg C constant.
b. On Linux (Manjaro), I checked the SSD and the CPU core temps. Boot/idle/browsing and spreadsheet temps are as follows:
Boot: 62 deg C CPU / 34 Dec G SSD Idle: 43 Dg C CPU 34 Deg C SSD Browsing upto 1 hour after booting: 70 Deg C CPU / 36 Deg C SSD Spreadsheet (basic data entry in Libre office or Onlyoffice) : 68 Dec C CPU / 38 Deg C SSD
Those aren’t bad numbers! I would like to see lower- especially better cooling around the palm rest and the F1-F12 keys. Tip: Make sure you clean the vents near the heat sink, fan and the thermal vents before you wrap up. You can use isopropyl alcohol or a suitable inert cleaning agent for that. (Edited for typos)

Trabalho com programação e modelagem de dados, então acabo tendo de usar Linux e uma VM com Windows, deixando o notebook sempre sobrecarregado de processos. Well to start with I bought it for my 4 year old laptop which had a pretty basic configuration with a Ryzen 3 CPU with integrated graphics. I don’t do any gaming just some web browsing and office apps etc. bought a new battery to make the laptop last few more years. The laptop was getting pretty warm and CPU fan was making loud noise even when browsing only. Applied this paste and have been using for 2 days now. Not a single time I have heard the fan running. Even when opening multiple applications. There doesn’t seem to be much of a noticeable difference in battery life before and after application of paste which i expected considering the FAN is not taking extra power now (Will update in coming weeks). But it served the purpose for which it was bought. Laptop runs significantly cooler for sure.

My laptop temperatures was touching almost 100 deg C when gaming which got me worried. I decided to buy this paste as it had a good conductivity and was also well priced. On applying the paste, the temps dropped to 70 when on cooler and 75-80 at max when not using cooler while gaming. I would prefer that the nozzle be a bit small so that I don’t ooze out more paste than needed (the first mistake I made while applying it). But I would still recommend this to users who game a lot and if their systems are running hot.

I bought it for my Dell XPS 15 9560 which has a history of thermal issues. So I removed the heat sink and applied this. But the challenge was the wide nozzle wasn’t very conducive to apply the paste on a laptop CPU, so it took a couple of tries for me over 2 weeks to get this right. Every time I apply, the temperature did drop considerably and the latest one helps the performance very well. Definitely recommended, but judging by the nozzle, this is probably meant for desktop CPU’s.
