You pay for what you get. This is cheap paste you shouldn’t be looking to use on a project you care a lot about. This is not secretly as good as all the mid or top end thermal solutions, so you should manage your expectations and not complain too much.
The liquid separates from the solid during storage, and requires rehomogenisation before use. It’s kind of like how ketchup bottles let out the pale red liquid first after they’ve been sitting for a while. I squeezed a bit out and then used the plunger to compress and mix the contents. Test it on paper to ensure its the consistency you want BEFORE you put it on the IHS (or whatever else you’re using it on). You could also use a spreader or spudger to mix it manually and then apply it like brick mortar, but that’s messy and I don’t like to do that.
Once I mixed it and it was on the CPU with the cooler attached, thermals were within normal range, but not as good as MX-5. It’s what one can expect for the price, so get it with clear eyes.

It does it’s job. It’s not the best, not the worst. It just works!
Plus, we get a lot of quantity so that’s good but you really won’t be needing this much. Unless you are doing some crazy work on 50 computers.
Final verdict: Go for it. It’s great for the price.
